Off it goes again .....
Incredible swings on Clipper for no obvious reason? Still expecting fantastic results for the year with the lockdown strengthening activity .......
Seems to be steady at over £9, let's hope it has established a new base level with steady results through the crisis ....
Good run again today, I suppose on the trading update and being a business that seems to thrive in lockdown ...
Yes, fantastic update and now threatening to push through the £6 mark on the back of it! I've got a feeling this has got a long run ahead of it ........ wish I had more of them.....
There are also academics who support the current methods to try to control the pandemic. I have always felt a controlled move to herd immunity may be the best option when taking the broader impacts of the lockdown into consideration.
Hopefully vaccinations can resolve the issue over coming months and studies of this terrible period will be able to identify the learnings. In the meantime, everyone must support the current policy.
There is a lot of sense in your suggestion, a very difficult call to make. I suppose the key is whether the vulnerable could be well enough protected, and who are the vulnerable (eg all over 55's as well as all underlying health issues for example?)
Hi Holly,
What on earth is the relevance of a certain day????? His belief has proved pretty accurate so far and far more so than those who appear to disagree.
Why people get so agitated at someone having a view makes no sense to me. Surely we all make our own minds up on how, when and if we invest our money ? I always assume (mistakenly it seems) that if people are on here they must have a positive and optimistic view of the share or they wouldn't invest in it?
Yes, it's all opinions. I believe it will continue to rise steadily from here, certainly on the back of dividend reintroduction (which certainly doesn't seem as if it will be as strong as I was hoping for for at least 18 months). Big loser overall on Lloyds in the current position, though added to the position at 32 a long time ago which is helping.
Hi Rosie,
As pleasant and positive as always. Why do you bother with Lloyds and this board when you clearly know so much more than everyone else? I'm surprised that you just don't use your time and superior knowledge to keep making more money :)
Yes, all good news at the moment and hit the 580 mark now.
