Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Morning LTI, It was AHO who was talking about 70% returns to shareholders which I believe is why the quarterly dividends were put in place. Given the circumstances, I would be very disappointed if this years dividend did not return to pre covid levels at least, especially with the divi that was held back.
Morning All, Solid results for the first half , but can't help feeling disappointed with the dividend outlook on such strong capital reserves. The abandonment of the quarterly dividends that we never received is disappointing. Hopefully the good news story is being saved for Year end when the new CEO is in place, but the aim to return up to 70% of profits to shareholders in quarterly dividends previously promised seems a long way off.
I remain mystified by the recent struggles of the share price, but look forward to a return to the 50's shortly on the back of solid results and a positive dividend message for the following 18 months next week .... (Still seems a long way to my core holding average in the mid 50's :) )
Would that be the same Kalvin Phillips who was England's best player over the whole tournament and plays a totally different role to Jack Grealish ?(When Grealish plays as his team ethic is doubted). Your preference in hairstyles is clearly very relevant.
Sold most at £7 and still waiting to drop back below £6.50 ....... great move :)
The other relevant point was that the 2019 dividend payment was that the PRA insisted the divi payment was "postponed" not cancelled, leading to the expectation that it would be paid out at a later date if crisis situation in the bank was averted....
Knew I shouldn't have sold...... :)
Indeed we will Mercia, let's hope for a positive picture! I'm not sure the 3.2p was down to history as it had only recently been reintroduced and grown after years of no divi and in line with the longer term stated aim to return up to 70% of annual profits to shareholders....
58P may just about get my main long term pot back in the blue ... :)
Still, the pot I bought around last June at 32p is a much healthier picture and it's great for those lucky enough to have got in around 24p in the last year!
