Almost hit the upgrade in 3 days!!!
Wow, it's off again! I believed £6 was possible within a year or two...... maybe it could be a little sooner!
Surprised it's dropped back a little again after those results!
Hi Rogue, The dividend looks to be around 2% surely????
There are Clipper vehicles and a joint venture operation called Clicklink. However as the business is focused on retail Ecomm and returns a lot of the volume goes out on the parcel carriers so is less transport based......
Fantastic results for the first half and very bullish picture for the full year!
Agreed, no idea why people who often don't seem to be invested seem to be so concerned by someone with a clear view and plan. I have been invested long term so clearly hope the sentiment will be correct and still regretting not investing more around the 25p range (As I suspect are many others from their comments) :)
Hi WCB, Not sure why you would waste your time worrying about this stuff. Falky has been pretty straightforward and consistent in his views and seems to be going the right way at the moment. None of us knows the future on this, we all make our own decisions and it either works for us or it doesn't. Which way do you think Lloyds is going over the next year?
I had a significant transferred pension pot to reinvest when the share price was in the 24-25p range. I already have a significant (for me) holding in Lloyds and considered putting the transferred pension pot into Lloyds giving me an extra 1.9m or so. I came very close to doing it , but ultimately decided to be more sensible and reinvested across 23 funds instead.
Not looking like the best decision right now, not so much for the capital growth but for the future dividend income!
I'll know in a few years how big a missed opportunity it may have been :)
Hi Lea's , what on earth are you talking about? The share price was around the 60p mark until the covid fears dropped it like a stone (like most other shares) in late February. It's there in the chart on this page?
Off it goes again ........
Yes, certainly one to hold over the next couple of years I think. I think I may view each of these big sudden dips as a buying opportunity as I do think the potential is to be at £6 within the next 1 -2 years. Going the right way again at the moment .....
Surely the dividend should be driven by profits, not the share price which will always fluctuate?
They have stated in the past that the aim would be build up towards returning 70% of profits to shareholders on an annual basis .....
All will be clear by May. My thoughts had always been for the full divi for 2021 to hit the 4p mark, but as this year has demonstrated things can change very quickly, but hopefully for the better as well for everyone when we have been through this terrible period.
