On another board I have been advised to put a sell limit order on my shares. It keeps the MM from using your shares to make them available for shorts I'm told.

Although this seems a like a bit of a long shot, they tell me it actually works, less shares available for MM to play with.

What do we think of this here? Any large holders (or many small) willing to try this out as it seems this share is constantly dragged down for some reason.

Yesterday we had massive buying going on and still we were down as I pointed out at the time.

Expect sp action on the way to news about drill results (not drill start) and when news of SW or BH drilling campaign.

Think the 'delay' in the latter is just that they have only focussed on HV JV with NC so when that was done they started on BH and SW.
Don't think it's out of the ordinary that they take a month or bit more to get a drill campaign organised.

You actually think it's a load of nonsense that NC is drilling 10,000m in HV where they have a JV with GGP?

You would rather have them drill somewhere in the GGP plots where they don't have any share with GGP or drill somewhere in the NC plots where we have nothing with NC?

Another poster asked whether it would catch you out if the consolidation took place. If you set your sell limit at 2p and the consolidation catches you out (can it actually catch you out or is it a process and you have time to make the change?), will the sell limit still be 2p for the 1 to100 consolidated share ? That would be a disaster. Or will your sell limit be cancelled under the consolidation?

Well, then you should be out DB. I see a lot of buying at .39 (and lots late yesterday) so I guess investors disagree with you. It's not about the oil only as you try to make it look like.
Trust the financial advisors of the Sheikh had their own spread sheets and concluded differently..

PG, that is a good question. How does NC define the cost of a meter drill... Is that market conform or just whatever they attribute to it? Trust that has been covered in the agreement somewhere. I recall someone on here giving us an indication of what the cost of a meter drill would be. Can't remember who it was. Tiburn maybe? I recall a figure of YSD 200/m but not sure of that. That would be 'only' USD 2mln.

On the other hand, another 10,000 m of drills will do me fine as it will give us a much better view of what is in the ground at HV.

That is a great and confident RNS. Set up camp in two weeks and then 10,000 m of drills shortly after.

What more do you want. Well, apart from cracking drill results, of which GH has now confirmed that they will keep us informed as and when. Great. No more questions and move upwards from here.

Ruprah, as I just posted they DID report on HV and GGP so why would you say they did not report on them???. They reported exactly in line with what was to be expected.

Well stuart. I trust you did not expect NC to report on BH or SW as nothing to do with them.

Also, NC never said they would drill in April. They did a deal in March and by doing that, GGP had to cancel their drill plans on HV for April. So that was always off the cards. Just jumping into a drill on BH or SW without a plan makes no sense so it will take a bit of time to get that sorted, regardless of whether we had drills booked or not. Trust you don't want GGP to go drilling BH or SW willy nilly and turn up dusters. THAT would be really dumb!

So, NC is a big corporate. They will only report results if and when they deem necessary and that is certainly NOT before they are drilling. They have announced exactly what I expected them to announce so no surprise there.

GGP will announce their drill plans as and when they have the proper plan in place. No need to announce anything before that either.

Have a bit of patience.

Well Phoebus, not entirely. TLP101 flowed at 55bopd during the 2 weeks to the RNS of January 3rd. It was then decided that the company would look into the viability of using TLP102 as water injector in order to make TLP101 produce at 400bopd as the wells appear to be interconnected.

The company is/was in the process of getting quotes for that work to TLP102 and decide whether it is viable or not. They may have or may have not received the quotes yet. We don't know. Trust we will hear that soon enough. Seems to me that 400bopd @USD 72/bbl will validate a lot of investment into TLP102.

After djeno oil flowed from TLP103 on its own, everything is now about the CPR update and producing djeno from 103 or to just produce Mengo from 103 and drill 104 for djeno oil. So, not flow tested 103 indeed. The oil from 103 wants to escape on its own and pressure had to be released.

We have been told to wait for further details but that the news is very, very good.

So your statement is quite crude (36 API?) and well off I would say.

Well gmcc, just to get a feel for responses that we may see here, have a look over at 'PX**', an Oil and Gas company that announced increased resources today for gas in Italy. They went up 45% in early trading and are now at 22% up. You do the math of which company that is as I don't want to get told off for mentioning another stock here. By the way, I am not invested in that company, just making comparisons that may help us here at AAOG to understand teh possible response to 'very, very good' CPR ;-).

They increased their 1p and 2c resources.

I don't think so BC. They are waiting for the license and the SNPC deal before making any concrete plans. DS has made that abundantly clear now. That makes sense as well. if they start outlining their plans and start moving forward (as in ordering equipment) etc they give away their upside in the negotiations. ROC need this revenue and hence AAOG needs to play that card in the process. Can't be to eager as it WILL cost shares (as in not decreasing the SNPC share as much as possible).

Also, why on earth would they inject water in 102 now when they have (seemingly) not decided whether to actually do that? If they get the feedback that they can produce Djeno oil form the 103 well then it will have been wasted money. I'm not saying they should do the mengo production or the djeno production from 103 but injecting water now makes no sense yet.

Don't get your hopes up as it will at best be an indication that they have started or similar. Don't expect more from a large PLC as they will not provide anything spectacular until they know what is actually in the ground. That is how large PLCs do their reporting, very carefully so not to be shot down when it disappoints after the drilling campaign.
