What a load of nonsense views you have Aim. AAOG have never said they WILL produce Djeno from 103 so don't make it out as if they have! And why would they say that? What they have said is that they are investigating whether they can inject 102 with water and make 103 produce upto 1500bbpd.

They are also investigating whether they can produce djeno from 103, or is that just this board that is assuming that... However, it is under investigation and if there really is djeno oil out there, as it seems to be, then there will be no shortage of people wanting to fund 104 drill.

So buy in and get it over with or get a life and find another share to bash.

Nobody is giving anybody a pass MV and indeed DS is later than he said he would with the CPR release. However, it serves no point to keep B!tching about it as nothing is going to change. They will release when they are ready.

Yes, disapopointing that there is no news yet but on the other hand, if one is invested for the long term opportunity then a couple of weeks make no difference in my view. Unless of course one is invested as a trader and then it does make a difference...

I'm saying this is not the time to release the CPR. It will not do anything for the SP and will hinder negotiations. I would certainly not release it now and ESPECIALLY if you feel you are working with a company with a history of 'corruption'. There is no logic in that!

Woody, you're still missing the point.

I'm not saying that SNPC doesn't expect what the CPR is like as clearly the surrounding fields are good as I indeed outlined. They may even know the CPR results, or they may not. They are owner so one could say they have the right, however, they haven't paid their share so AAOG might say 'up yours', pay us first and then we will tell you the exact results, whether they pay in dollars or shares is up to SNPC. I hope in shares!

However, what WILL make a big difference is if AAOG announce the results of the CPR via RNS now before having finalised their negotiations. As I said, from that moment on they have to move forward with the production plan etc as they will be under pressure to produce.

This is the only time they can control the negotiations. If you don't see that then it's time you follow your own advise LOL.

Woody, as I have said many times, DS already announced in the last interview that he didn't control the timeline. 'Several months' he stated.

That people chose to ignore it makes no difference. He did RNS that the second half of May would see the CPR. However, the License terms and the SNPC deal he cannot control. The only thing he can control is the release of the CPR.

Now tell me why on earth would you release that CPR, which as we all expect and hope contains a sizeable oil reserve, when you KNOW it will hinder your negotiations on the SNPC deal and License terms. DS in the last interview clearly stated that he expected those license terms to he 'horrendous' so clearly negotiations are required, and they take several months as he already indicated.

Sure, he could release an RNS that the CPR is delayed (duh) and that another payment by SNPC has been made, but that makes no difference does it? It will have zero impact as negative people will still think the same and positive people will too so what's the point. AAOG must clearly be thinking it is better to hold off for a bit than to bother with the effort and cost of another RNS which essentially says nothing. I don't get the obsession of people on here with the RNS.

Unless of course the oil reserves are not good and then we are all up Sh!t creek without a paddle, regardless of any RNS. I would think that Highly unlikely given the surrounding field results and the two know payments made by SNPC. But that is my view.

It's negotiating time and you just can't drop a major bomb like the CPR WITHOUT having secured the rest of the package.

So, again, the package is and HAS TO BE the license terms, the SNPC deal, the CPR and the production plan. If they drop the CPR now then everyone knows that AAog will be under pressure to move forward into production and they can forget about decreasing the SNPC stake.

So, just ignore what some posters here say about not sticking to the CPR timeline. It's annoying maybe but THAT is not the KEY.

The important part is 'the package' and if in the mean time the SP suffers a bit so be it, that only affects traders and other short term visionists....

I expect it will rise indeed Rocket, but I don't think it will have anything to do with the gold price. We are valued on gold in the ground, which is a whole different issue from gold market prices.

It would be nice Spy, but I have read many times from industry experts that the Gold price really doesn't matter that much to the valuation of Explorers like we are. Well, I trust that is as long as there is a healthy margin between production cost of gold and the market price of gold.

Surely this will rise within weeks from now similar to the build up of the news around the first and second HV assay results.

Unfortunately in any business things go wrong and even more so in oil exploration projects, especially in more complicated countries.

DS may have been off the full marks but the company keeps making progress. Maybe not to the extent they expected and hence communicated but still, progress there is.

I'm not too worried by some delays as there always will be. I would be suspicious if everything went effortlessly according to plan as that would be truly weird.

Maybe no CPR today and maybe there will be. It matters not as the key to making progress on the SP is the whole package: license terms, deal with SNPC, production plan and CPR.

I think we have some weeks to wait for that total package as DS said in his last interview.

So, on the 22 of May we were RNS'ed that NC 'had' commenced drilling at HV. It did not say when it had commenced the drilling. On that day or even earlier. How much earlier....

So, let's assume it was the 22nd of May start and it takes 1 week to drill one 1000m hole. That means the first two are already done as they have two drills at the same time... The other 8 will be done in 3.5 week's time.

This means as it's the 31st now, those cores are already on its way to the labs or already even there. Would they release results mid stream or wait for the full total to be done. How long does it take to do the assays in the lab, a week?

We don't know when they will release results is the only conclusion. However, should they decide to release some holes mid stream, do you want to be on the sideline when that happens or do you want to be in....

Choices, choices.

Placing being used to excel (?) BP... You mean from start up 6 months after license? Oups, that should have been some months ago. Vast will always need more money as the management cannot complete anything.

They eventually might get "progressing towards starting BP up" or whatever vagueness that may mean, and then something else of interest will pop up and the attention gets diverted to the new 'jam tomorrow' and again nothing will be achieved.
