Afternoon all,
Baz, last night I started a post about what this company has faced during it's long and often painful development.
It got a bit too long and painful, so I didn't continue. As you say you couldn't make it up, a global pandemic stopping work, when only a whisker away. We'll Just sit this out, another buying opportunity, yet again.
Whatever next? The Norns must be running out of things to throw at us.
Hmm, I wonder what odds the bookies are giving against a meteorite hitting Cononish.
Regards all.
Afternoon,
Thanks for that link Bellers, makes for Interesting reading. If the physical stuff is in short supply surely the price will rise.
The only fly in the ointment as far as I can see, is if the refineries are closed as says the article, when we dig it up we can't refine it and that means we cant sell it.
Can somebody convince me I'm wrong please.
Regards all.
Evening,
If the company had stopped work there would be a RNS. Business as usual. No news is good news, as well as normal.
Hi Rock, I hope that isn't cabin fever setting in.
Regards all
Afternoon,
Welcome back baz.
Regards all.
Evening,
Thank you yayay, you raise the spirits. It's appreciated after a truly dismal week or two.
Baz, how are things?
Evening,
Not sounding too clever out there Baz, hope it works out well.
Regards all.
Evening,
I share your concerns Eck, I can't imagine that peat has dried out any, It's hardly been concreting weather either. This winter has been as wet as any I remember in the last 30 years. Sometimes it seemed as though the only time it stopped raining was when it started to snow. I think there were 3 dry days in January and that's been it for the year so far. We have had snow down to 1000ft for all of February. I wonder how much effect it's had on the construction programme, not that we have any idea what that is. If it wasn't for the arthritis I'd be walking up there for a look.
News would be excellent, even bad news would be better than none.
I think i'll go and dig a bottle of optimism (vintage cider) out of the fridge. The Tyndrum gold might be remaining intact for a while.
Oh, Baz, did you make Beni?
Regards all.
Morning,
Thanks CP, appreciated.
Afternoon all,
CP, any indication when the BBC are going to show the programmes?
Regards all, have a good one Baz.
Afternoon all,
Rock, underground is probably the place to be today at Cononish. We have had sleet, snow and hail on and of all day here. it's lying above 600ft and there's a good amount at 1000ft.
Regards.
Spanish as well.

RM, I had a top up this am, couldn't resist :-)
Regards all.
Afternoon all.
Ta for that, not a bad article at all. The link leads to a subscription add, but I searched google with the title "Scotland’s first commercial gold mine faces green opposition" and got there.
The "green opposition" mentioned is somewhat historical being, mostly that from the mountaineers etc during the planning process. Good balanced article, stresses the future expansion plans.
Regards all.

Seasons greetings to all.
CP, thanks for the update, welcome as always and appreciated.
An exploration report and update from the company would be very welcome. News is important, once again we have a piece in the national press and the share price jumps. There's a lesson there.
I look forward to the BBC programmes being aired,. I just hope we don't get the faintly patronising, twee, home counties middle class loftily amused at the colourful locals antics, that the BBC does so well and often.
However they do say any publicity is good... etc.
Onwards and upwards.
Regards to all.
Hi all,
My exercised options converted to shares today. They must have been in that batch the RNS reported issued the other day.
Regards all.
Happy birthday, have a good one and enjoy the Tyndrum Gold.
regards all.
Aye they are, at my expense lol.
Wtf it's only money. We can't coffin dodge for ever.
Regards all
Hi Rock.
Great minds think alike, or old foo......etc..
I was 46 only 2 weeks ago and ordered a bottle yesterday as a small indulgence.
Hope yours arrives in time.
Regards
Nothing too new, pretty positive though. I like the line 'Stage two of the mine's development will see this rise to 24,000 ounces on a fairly minimal capital outlay.'
