Hello Rockhead,
Indeed it does, sets out the agenda.
At first glance there seems to be more information and fresh content on the new Website, it's not just a face lift.
Even got a vacancies page.
I'll give it some time tomorrow.
Regards all.
This just popped up during a search for Scotgold news.

Hi again, lost a line,
............. SGZ holding, presumably some admin work is required. It must take time to convert a exercised option to a share.
Yayay and others, hi.
I'm with ii and so far so good, all gone well.
My options are in my ISA and so far it has not been a problem.
When I originally received my options ii sent me a communication informing me of the grant and a separate line of SGZ appeared in my ISA holdings referring to them specifically as options with nil value. I have since received regular communications from ii confirming the number of options and when they expire on my corporate action page.
I called ii on the 11 oct to exercise them. On the 17 Oct the line changed to include an ave price and book cost and my transaction history had a record of the exercise of warrants. My corporate action record changed to Closed.
The line in my holdings remains separate still but if I recall correctly from last time I exercised options this is normal, and after a while they will disappear into the main SGZ holding, presumably some admin work is required.
At no time, has them being in my ISA been a problem. If you are being told ISA is a problem query it.
I think the learning point here is, get in quick. Last minute is not the way to go.
Regards all.
Hi Yayay,
Joking aside, it'll be fine.
Regards.
Evening,
Yayay Hi,
The stress and aggravation that you and others are going through re these options has me thinking. Perhaps this is why our chairman ( god bless him and his barn or whatever it's called) sold his options on for a penny each, perhaps he tried to exercise them with Barclays.
Now that the options are fully transferable perhaps you could relieve yourself of the stress and sell them to me for a penny, each that is obviously.
Yours, tongue in cheek, (but ever hopeful lol)
Regards, have a good weekend all.
I was thinking about how long I have held and how I first came across Scotgold. It's time for a confession.
I've held SGZ for nearly 8 years following a conversation when I was working nearby. That chat rekindled an old interest. It wasn't the first time I'd heard about the Tyndrum gold mine. I live only 20 odd miles from the mine and a few years prior to that chat was In the hotel next to my house having a beer with a pal when he mentioned he had read something about a defunct gold mine up by Tyndrum. Inevitably, too many pints later we were setting a date to yomp up there ( he was a warrant officer in the Marines). I was much younger, fitter, into stalking and running up and down hills then so off we went a couple of days later.
We got there, probably in a third of the time it takes me now. The place was desolate, deserted, no signs of activity at all. There were rotten portacabins, Nissen huts, a bit of a mine railway and a waggon or two. There was also the adit with its rusty gate and chain and padlock. Pretty interesting really in an industrial archeology kind of way.
There were also racks and racks of core samples. Hmm worth a look we say.....
Yup, to my eternal shame, we chopped a few shiny bits out of them. Now, somewhere I still have a few souvenirs of that walk. I got some stuff that looked like flecks of silver (Who knows if it is lol) Dave, however got some of the wedding ring metal.
Sorry Scotgold if we did any damage, I doubt it, we did put stuff back in its place even if it was missing a bit. lol.
That's what resparked my interest.
Pity Dave move away, or I could have proved Sh----- wrong re the no visible gold nonsense a while ago.
Anyway, confession over, how did other people find the company?
Yayay hi,
The OCD must be getting worse, I just had to check lol. I was wrong earlier it was 980 shares on 3 Oct not 830.
I now have 51000, something will have to be done. Medication needed I think.
Yayay hi,
My options have been exercised, well, II have taken the money. Took 5 days just as the lady said it would.
Hi Samson, quite agree, but your statement assumes a rational market. I think it's safe to say we don't have that. Regards all.
Hi Samson, I have always considered funding to be the biggest risk. I have an engineering background and getting the rock out and processing it is just a well understood and practiced process surely. The BPT proved the recovery rate.
Yayay hi, Absolutely rolling about here. Only recently I bought 830 shares to ensure I had a nice round figure ending in four zeros when the options are converted. I then bought my son 1000 as a Christmas present, they are in my ISA with my own and it's unbalanced now. They need to come out! LOL.
Hi Rockhead,
I fall into the Yayay camp here. I am a sticky fingered kind of guy. I find it less stressful and more relaxing and like other old hands I am used to red.
I have never held enough of SGZ such that a complete loss would be a disaster. I must admit though, following the rises of the last few weeks the Scotgold shares are are much bigger percentage of my pot than they were, not enough to make me fret though. I do hope that such a worrying situation arises mind.
I am happy to hold and not bank rises, because I foresee a steady series of events in the nearish future that can only have a beneficial effect on the share price. First production and gold pour, hopefully filmed by BBC because it'll probably be the only way I see it (HINT, HINT) . Then the work up to and achievement of 1st stage production. Repayment of the chairman's funding (god bless his little cotton socks) and the development of mine and facilities up to full production. I'm sure in parallel with this the Geo's will continue their work and the Drills will get dusted off and a lot of good news will ensue.
I'm in and staying in because of this.
Regards
Hi Rock,
Just for you.

I must confess to having downed a glass or two of Thatchers gold last night. Closest I could get.
According to the Green Welly, batch three of Tyndrum gold is expected soon, mind you they were saying that in August so I'm not holding my breath.
Ah, I remember well that early enthusiasm. My first sgz buy was at 5p, that's £5.01 post decimalisation.
Morning all.
Glen £25, I agree,
Cononish 2 alone might even do that. We'll see when the drills get dusted off.
Really looking forward to the next few years. Exciting times ahead, even in the calm serene convoy.
Evening,
Just for Yayay.

I don't know about schooners at the battle of Jutland, but I certainly remember schooners of Australian white in a Yates wine lodge back in my youth.
I'm in the convoy as well. On course for "The significant gold mining Industry".
