Big spread compared to on here though the price change is the same. Odd.

@PurpleKenny - P/E is the Price-to-Earnings ratio, a valuation metric that compares a company's stock price to its earnings per share (EPS).

@Taverham - hopefully she'll feel more inclined to do something in a couple of weeks but I would suggest not leaving it too long to make the complaint, even if you draft it for her to send.

@Taverham - have you or your wife made a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service?

Your wife should also make a subject access request stating clearly what information she requires - starting with the timeline of events; the date Barclays received any information sent to them; the date they actioned the change of address; the address to which they sent her new log-in details.

This detail should be noted on your wife's profile/account and if it's not then they're negligent.

Your wife should also ask for copies of her record including the information requested.

She should also copy the Financial Ombudsman and the Financial Conduct Authority - if that doesn't get them jumping through hoops they're doubly negligent.

@BeContrarian - wasn't changed at all; it was always going to stay as GGP. GRL is the ticker for Goldstone Resources.

@POSTI - have you been incommunicado all day? It's the post-consolidation price showing, ie 20 x 15.6p plus whatever the increase has been over the day.

just messaged iweb about why it's showing my new consolidated amount of shares but at the sp at cop on thursday.

their response:

"please be aware that your online valuation screen may require up to 24 hours to update from this date which may affect the indictive pricing available on this page."

when i queried why other platforms have already updated their systems:

"so they may have different methods and systems to us. we are processing this. sorry for any inconvinience caused."

sounds like they can't be ****d to get things right! i've said i'll be straight on to them first thing if when i check my account it's hasn't updated.

Iweb also not updated although it’s showing my consolidated number of shared but at the old price thus I’m massively in deficit instead of nicely in profit 😡

They’d better have it sorted by tomorrow.

Got the shock of my life when I logged in to iWeb to see my balance vastly reduced!

It's showing my holding and average price paid but just has 2 stars where the current SP and valuation should be.

Just a "small" pit then!

Worrying to read that speedie and the response to your complaint is most definitely lackadaisical at best, appalling at worst.

I stopped using HL for share trades/investment trusts a couple of years ago because of their high dealing charges for those who don't trade on a regular basis - £11.95 per trade regardless of how many shares were bought. I now use them for buying funds only (no dealing charges) and have moved to iWeb for shares (£5 per trade plus stamp duty where applicable).

My portfolio on both platforms isn't massive so every little helps in terms of costs when trading.

Unfortunately, doubt that'd stop him - he'd likely just set up a new e-mail address and re-register, unless LSE have a way of monitoring IP addresses to prevent that?

Sageman - you could e-mail Rotherby directly instead of using GGPChat and if you're worried about your personal details being disclosed then why not create a new e-mail account solely for that purpose?

The holiday season is coming up so you may wish to wait until later in the year.

You can post on here to show possible interest or send your email address to Rotherby so that if/when a meet gets off the ground he has a list of those who'd like to join.

One or two GGP investors have expressed interest in a meet in London or the South East.

If you're interested please head over to www.ggpchat.co.uk and read the relevant post on there then e-mail Rotherby to let him know - he's kindly agreed to co-ordinate replies to gauge interest.

Once it's known how many there might be we can work out where's most convenient for all to hold the meet.

Invite is open to all, not just those in London or the South East.

The most recent meets Rotherby has organised have been very successful and informative judging by comments I've seen.
