@LewyLewis11 - I've been doing that for months. Reduced my holding (at a loss) a few months ago and had pretty much forgotten about it.

Topped up at market open this morning. Gutted to see the SP drop pretty much straight away :-(

I wonder if some (not necessarily on here ) might think it worth considering a class action against PRIM for the losses suffered following the sale of PR1 shares and the consequent fall of the SP …

I fear you maybe right M940 but I hope whoever investigates this theiws the book at PRIM and makes an example of them.

Of course it’s worth “crying about” as you put it. PRIM have contravened AIM rules big-time and PR1 have every right to complain.

Even as a ‘small’ PRIM shareholder would you be saying the same if the boot were on the other foot and your shares had massively dropped in value through a similar contravention of the rules?

The PR1 board are nothing like Christian Horner, whose past misdemeanours caught up with him eventually and got him the sack, which is what should happen to those in charge at PRIM IMO.

I hope that not only do PRIM receive a very hefty fine but are also forced to compensate PR1 to the value of their prift in selling shares they were under agreement not to.

Similar to Walt Disney’s housekeeper who received pieces of paper from him every Christmas and Birthday and was advised to keep them. When she died her family were shocked to discover they were worth over $9.5m.

Very sorry that you've had to make this decision TT. No doubt the trolls will be rubbing their hands with glee that they've finally worn you down. It's a shame because, as others have said, you've been very helpful posting information about GGP and explaining or clarifying things when others ask.

It's a sad day when the trolls win but I hope you'll be back at some stage.

@TT - will hold off for now, quite happy with my holding via iweb for now but thanks for the heads up. I also have an account with HL but as I don't trade often enough they sting me for £11.95 every time I buy shares. I use HL for funds as they don't charge for those and iweb for shares (£5 per trade plus stamp duty).

Just bought 5k shares via iweb @7.78p per share. Didn't have enough spare cash in my ISA for more.

@TimberTrader - just tried to see if I could buy GGP on the ASX via my S&S ISA on iWeb - they don't have access to it though so I'd have to set up another S&S ISA with ii or another platform which does.

Agree Doyezee - I don't have X/Twitter, Instagram or anything similar. If you're not on them then you can't be scammed.

I do report any suspicious texts I receive purporting to be from "real" companies and any scam e-mails that make their way through the filters.

To report scam texts and emails, forward suspicious texts to 7726 and emails to report@phishing.gov.uk. If you've lost money or provided sensitive information, also report to Action Fraud. In Scotland, report to Police Scotland on 101.
