I think a large minority are expecting something other than a full sale. A partial sale will probably give us an immediate return greater than the current sp and still have a company making serious cash to boot. What's not to like?

Or, more simply, the last placing was at 22p, too many are assuming there's another coming, market happy to go along with the theory as it suits their agenda too. So we have a self fulfilling prophecy. What's frustrating is that you can see the crash coming, but are strapped into your seat by the FSP/NDA, not knowing whether you're going to survive it or not. Some are choosing to cut and run, others still relying on hope. Despite my post, I'm in the latter group, nails indented on the dashboard!

In fact, the English treasury was well kept by their escapades throughout the Tudor era and beyond. Blind eyes turned and all that. Much as the modern UK treasury will be when this lands and we all pay our direct and indirect taxes!

I think your reply should have been to SB, as it was they who alleged the existence of treasury stock. I didn't think there was any either, but without checking assumed it was something I had missed but was aware that treasury shares can be sold/resold to raise capital.

How many traders look at the "Losers" chart each morning for investment choices? We are purposefully kept off the radar as the last thing the market wants is the "herd" arriving.
They've just spent 6 months shaking the stock back out of their hands and are not going to undo all that now by showing a price increase or give remaining holders any hope are they?
