My head hurts. Simple fact is, no one has guessed this right, or has a clue what's REALLY going on...no one.
I've said before, the only thing you can do is decide whether you trust the board, the assets, take a position, and wait; there are just too many moving parts.
To be even thinking about tax implications now (maybe apart from where your shares are; ISA, SIPP etc) is futile.
Just enjoy the weekend and see what happens next.

Well played. I've bought 5m in 1m tranches throughout the day. I waited to see what impact the new shares might have, should have also waited until the end of the day as I paid .63 for some this morning.
I've held a bit more back too, in case they dip below .6p next week.
Must admit, I'm a bit excited as to what's coming next. Feel as though we've turned a corner here.

I know the Bod hold a fair few shares already, but do we know if they've taken any more. Didn't see anything in the recent issue doc's.
Would be nice to see them getting a few more at this level?

There are (unfortunately) others who have come here to judge you; I realised how mean, naive and ignorant that can be having been through my own 'nadir' many years ago. You quickly learn who has your back and who to listen too.

Given the fantastic record of the Bod so far, I find last night's RNS very loose and open ended. I'm still heavily invested here with averages approaching todays price, and have decided to take some off the table. To put that RNS out and leave so many blanks for others to fill in has left me a bit unsettled tbh. I do trust the Bod still, but given my exposure and their willingness to just 'hang' this out has made me act with a bit more caution.
It's a bit different when you have £5k invested at sub 1p.

Rajbury, it's sometimes tedious enough to trawl these boards without having to wade through your grammatical corrections. It's a pointless exercise, unless it helps to clarify or determine an op's intent. Otherwise it serves no purpose and only makes you look like a knob anyway, tbh.

We can't sell what we don't own. From an accounting pov, Rosgeo is worth what we paid for it...a tiny fraction of our mcap. Hence the 'significantly all'.
Yes, it's there, waiting for us, but it's not ours to sell. That's your "global player" right there.

How much of Rosgeo is actually ours to sell? We have first dibs only. Right?

I think we had/have a big buyer on board for the 'old' assets and Rosgeo (new assets) ongoing in the background. When Rosgeo landed, they said they wanted them too, or no deal; then you'll have a drop in price and dilution. BoD called their bluff, said we can go it alone if needed (ramp up WK, raise cash).
Old assets sold, new assets kept. Money to bring new assets into production, pay everyone off, pay a divi.
Free ride (and money in your account?) for those staying to be part of a new "globally significant player".
