I don't know much about finance but should NCM loan be a problem, surely we could get a loan from a bank at a much better rate than 12.5% to pay them off? especially as at the point of needing to pay it back we will be mining
This is just a guess, but it seems more likely than not central banks are going to have to pivot back to QE and there will be lower interest rates by the end of the year
GH had the fun part, an exciting discovery + gold at new all time highs and people predicting $3000, great momentum to ride
SD has been left with the reality of evolving GGP from an explorer which GH himself admitted he wasnt the right man for
Well its the price we pay for holding on to 1moz in the ground, not the worst trade off, dont love 8p but I guess it is what it is
Anyway, hopefully my large investment in Cineworld will make up for any shortfall here, I havent checked sp for a week or so let me see here.. oh my god
TallDave
NCM had an option for 5%
Shaun wanted to pay them 85 million to relinquish their option for the 5%, basically buying the 5%
Shaun I assume felt NCM would take the 5% option at 60m
So you could say there was a $145m swing either way.. -85m or +60m depending on what NCM did, 0 and keeping the 5% is the best outcome
no?
GGP would be paying NCM not to take up their option, only for NCM to take up their option.. doesn't make sense
Taverham, price went up about 40% on the 60 million valuation news?
If there is 20moz at Hav, the 5% = 1moz
$60 million dollars for 1moz of gold = $60 for each oz of gold in the ground
Or, if you wanted to say 20moz is too speculative right now, lets go very conservative and say there's only 10moz at Hav that would = $120 for each oz in the ground
You can see why the RNS says "The Board is delighted that Greatland will retain 30% ownership in the Company's flagship asset and believes this outcome delivers substantial medium to long term value to Greatland"

Newcrest said 60 million meant it didn't meet their returns hurdle requirements , no reason to think that will change by the end of the month
I guess the issue is now I have had more time to digest it, we were going to have to fund 25% and were getting 60m towards that (or whatever was left from Newcrests loan)
Now we have to fund 30% and dont have a 60 that million injection.. that is a trickier spot
But on the other hand, assuming it wasnt just games from Shaun, we were willing to pay 60+ million in March for the 5% so he must be veryyy confident sourcing funding wont be too bad
I suppose we shall wait to see what it said tomorrow
If we believe Hav is destined to be 20moz+ keeping hold of 5% instead of taking 60million now is incredible
It does add uncertainty with funding but Shaun seems the right man to handle that
A toast to 30%
How do they justify to their shareholders turning down an offer of 60+ million in March only to give it away for nothing?
In the US they have a select few big banks that are "primary dealers", these primary dealers have to bid for US debt (treasuries/bonds etc) at auction
When people wrongly talk about money printing, the dollars for US debt are coming from primary dealers (also other foreign central banks that have ended up with a lot of dollars through trade) not the Fed, the fed cannot create new dollars they can only edit their own balance sheet numbers to add bank reserves
^ If I get a voucher from JD sports did they print money? my £20 exists with them, a £20 voucher also now exists.. thats £40 :O
Anyway the US rely on this big banks to fund the debt, when they also dont want them to fail because all their citizens bank accounts are with them how harshly are they ever going to treat them? primary dealers can bend and break rules as much as they like as long as its not disruptive to the population and causing politicians a headache
"Shaun Day should apply to have the stock suspended so we don't have to be hostage to this sh*t and these American Banks whom can trade these markets RISK FREE with their never ending supply of Dollars courtesy of the Dollar printing machines at the FED !"

I remember Gerald from Alex Jones show where he was a regular guest, he has been spouting doom and gloom since forever
https://m.smallbusinessadvocate.com/small-business-article/top-trends-of-2011-2449
"Crack-Up 2011 In 2011, with the bailout funds and arsenal of other schemes to prop up the economy depleted, teetering economies will collapse, currency wars will ensue, trade barriers will be erected, economic unions will splinter, and the onset of the “Greatest Depression” (a trend we forecasted before the massive bailouts existed) will be recognized by everyone…."
He might have made some good points in the video you posted but its not something im interested in sitting 30 minutes though to find out
If you could quote any of the more interesting points that would be good
If someone wants to write a know it all sounding article they could at least bother to get the basic stuff right
Even just with the 5% they say "an independent arbitrator, who ‘valued’ the whole of Havieron at $1.2bn" part
^ we dont know what they valued it at, only that of two numbers given they preferred 60m (which was presumably GGPs)
+ "might try to buy GGP’s remaining 30% (or 25% if GGP takes the $60m on offer for 5%)" oh, GGP get to choose if they take the 5% offer now? lol
I love how they reference one right call in 2016 to justify why they will be right.. none more recent?
re: 3d
Maybe this is something Dip will know if it has been discussed before
Surely you can take the drill data and input it into something to create a 3D image/video fairly easily?
If you need special knowledge or software im sure there must be someone on fiverr on upwork who will do it for a modest sum
If this has not already been looked into maybe I will see if I can come up with something?
Look at their actions, not what they say.
Ok mr money bags spades just casually dismissing what is currently worth 11.5k as nothing
Yeah its been a little disappointing I had hoped 12.50 would hold, but it was in keeping with this - https://imgur.com/bOyAjNh.jpg
But I am hopeful looking at this which is looking quite neat - https://imgur.com/irnDBva.jpg
Bottle was doing well with his interviews with Shaun and the guy from Artemis, seemed to have some momentum
The only thing I think he did was wrong was not rebranding to something like "The Paterson Region" and putting everything he was doing under one umbrella, one twitter, on youtube channel etc
Anyway, hopefully after things have cooled down a bit he will come back at least in some compacity.
