lebugue-addick - it 100% does work, it tells you where there are buyers/sellers and whether price is in a positive or negative trend, the longer the time time frame the more accurate

If you dont think it has any merit its because you are either too lazy to look into it or you don't understand it

A downward channel started in January were yet to break out of, until we break out you have to be negative about short term SP

We get drill results every 6 weeks, 4 weeks of dropping, 2 weeks of going back up to the top of the downward trend

Results just got released, we didnt break out, so most likely we will drift down again now for another 4 weeks unless we have unexpected news

I can be negative about short term SP but it doesn't mean I'm negative about the fundamentals long term

From a technical pov we just hit the top of a downward trend and got rejected again, so were probably around the top of the near future price range

I think we could see back down to as low as 15-17p in the next four weeks

thelearner - yes in hindsight 38p was running way too hot and a time to at least take some profit, I had always planned to at 30p+ but everything about ggp looked so good I decided to stay; The trouble is I think we all see 60p+ possible at some point in the future so 38p seemed cheap to sell

I will also say that if I had sold at 38p I 100% put it all back in at 27p after the Scally drop so I still wouldnt have any extra money right now just more shares, which would be nice of course but I think id still be holding for another 2 years at least regardless

It does say "which implies that up to 5,000 tonnes could be available for processing for gold." so could be less, could be more

What did Alba have to justify and sustain a 42m market cap?

Look at Albas chart, in the past 10 years theres been 8 or 9 big spikes up to over 0.6 followed by falls to 0.15-21, Im sure others know much better than me of the history of the company but it just looks full of pumps due to potential that never comes to anything

Buy a promising asset, deliver a nice RNS about "potential" and "exciting results" to spike SP and milk it dry until people stop believing

I just looked at what happened when Brockham was announced in n 2016, up 100% after the RNS, what did that ever come to? having to buy their way out 5 years later

That all being said at least SP is drifting into general historic bottoms now

That 500,000oz is a very rampy PR joke atm

I know this is pretty nonconsequential but couldn't "waste pit" be improved upon?

Instead make it sound more glamorous, call it something like "reassessing previously excavated known gold bearing material"

Just as ideas go if Alba can start producing, a link up with the Royal Mint would make total sense

The devils advocate point I was making was you could look at the initial spike in price as unjustified and instead current SP being described as "rot" this drop as a more reasonable speculation on a company that as of yet has only delivered promise , no gold

You could look it at the other way

The SP rise was fuelled by speculation on clogau but since no actual gold has been forth coming then how can it be sustained? the rise was down to good PR but you can only jingle your keys at the market so many times before they get bored; put the keys away and start showing some gold
