JMO, Your writeup is pretty accurate.
I rather like the Jags of old designwise, for me was different from the rest but not what the world wants. I had a 4.2 V8 S type before it got stolen and burnt when I was on holidays. Was fine apart from the auto brakes was stuck on locked and had to be changed. I did like the heated front windscreen, was refined and comfortable, enough power to be utterly smooth (father asked whether the engine was on as the engine was idling)
Being a bit of an enthusiast have had Alfa GTV,Nissan Skyline R32, Mitsubishi Starion (a favourite), Peugeot Mi16...etc previously. all very different.
