You can buy from £5, £4, £3 £2.5, £2, 1.50 vs buy from lets say, buying an uptrend you probably miss the bounce (lows)and buy at 2.3 , 3, 4?
Of course that uptrend buying form averaging usually means you buy more near the bottom as it is cheaper and less near the top instead of the other way round.....and less stress.
nuri, a stock can keep getting cheaper as you have said each time. Good luck, I have also done that many a times unfortunately!

Do not fall in love with a share.
Better to buy into an uptrend/move than catch a counter

My opinion is clear if you look back. IMO it has some way to fall below £2, perhaps £1.50 or lower to deep value unless the business trend can be reversed.Is the dividend at risk is a question that must be visited? Having sold when it broke £4, I am watching to re-enter perhaps when it has stopped falling/business model becomes clearer or when it seems good value (that is not easy with an opaque business regardless of speculative opinions or feelings )
The correct analysis is the one that has called it correctly irrespective of any opinions.

A market has both sides sell and buy side. The owners are always bullish because the buy for share increases / capital appreciation and their perception rightly or wrongly. Bulls vs bears point of view...lately the share price is what it is. What Rico does is a matter of opinion. I believe the dividend will be cut. Profits will fall to the tune of 50% . GLS being their best division, there are many areas which negates that.Being so dominant previously they should be out performing the sector by far but....
Vod is not a comparison but in some respects in a mature, for what little it is worth .. i too have been bearish there since the big sale in the states and has lost direction.....I advised someone to sell at 1.80.....

Having sold RMG is am looking at both Vod and RMG etc. There could be value at some point too. I am in RBS which I was bearish but turned bullish for now (Having bought at 2,24 and 2.03..etc) ..but will sell soon. Anyway this is a RMG thread.

Nothing has changed. This is still expensive and fall will resume once the bounce is over albeit it nearer the bottom than highs, deep value will then support the price. Unless the model and legacy problems are cleared which is unlikely unless a major overhaul is undertaken.....which will be bearing if share slides forces them and becomes the only way.
The business model remains unchanged. Talks of shorters burning and cheapness is just idle chat .

Cheap? I think not, Warren would not touch this at half the current price...more warnings and worker union problems, dividends, etc....remnants of the dinosauristic legacy. Having sold out at £4, I would revisit/review at below half current prices.
All those bulls vs bears arguments have proven one thing. Fact/share price does not lie despite whether you like it or not.

Nothing new in this awaited statement, slightly disappointing in fact, without Kongat's exuberance of promising 'soon', hence the initial flurry of small sells.
However, at current prices, it has not priced in the addition of the potential conglomerate TDK (no figures as yet) and the appearance of Spire in Apple Stores IMO.
I think valuation should be higher when the market the potential but promises needs to be delivered (then a possible re-rating imo).

Who would want this company with all the legacy problems of the past. It is not a big company. If broken up, that is another issue. Unions, fallling profits, rising costs and more. Inability to restructure.

It will fall to be deep value at some time, but way below current prices. IMO if it falls hard more, dividend may be at risk.

Too many are bullish in a falling stock. Good luck.

Kongats has sold a licence. TDK being a major world player with big reach is very positive.
Hoping for multi product accross multi-platforms.

Kongats is yet to announce any new news regarding the enquiries since for a while now.

That last welcomed Apple one was a deal by Spire which we knew before his RNS was unconnected with his previous email.

Hoping for some proper orders soon, v soon.

Payrise should be stopped, rewarding non performance

Need a big cap x expenditure, reduce work force, improve flexibility, efficiency and streamline business to compete. Then will see a recovery in profitability and share price. Otherwise wait to see if Corbyn wins and then carry on as usual.

The whole 'Apple wearables ' has a section in the media and magazines. Currently Apple has the highest market share in wearables.

Apple customers has bigger spending power and will be more trusting if they get Apple endorsement. 'Apple' gadgets / apps are never cheap nor free maintaining a decent margin.
Gadgets and apps for Android are ten to the dozen and vary from good to poor.
Spire works on both. If it sells well from Apple, android users will also buy...getting the name more exposure.
