Copper flying -GLR shareprice dying (due to lack of evidence of any tangible progress)
Totally agree -
Wish Ths would give details of capital expenditure to explain large fall in cash
All good comments and the supply / demand situation is very favorable for many commodities.
Let’s hope the Birdman does less twitting and general waffling and actually puts a couple of deals together that materially benefits the GLR shareholders
Thanks for all the calculations-let’s hope for once the Birdman actually puts a deal together that actually benefits the shareholders instead of just spouting the normal hot air on the outlook for materials on twitter and the likes of the Sunday. Roast
How could a company with the involvement of the likes of Glencore get the costings of building a mine so so wrong-Mr Martin and co disappear into the sunset and no doubt pick up a highly paid job elsewhere .
No explanation to the project costs suddenly doubling
Totally agree that the project should be developed by a bigger company with substantial funds behind them -either outright sale by ZIOc or entitlement to share of future profits.
Glencore have only got to look at the disaster that has unfolded at HZM (where they have a shareholding and offtake agreement) to see what can go wrong when a small company tries to develop a large mine
Would be good if dividend payout could be doubled to approx one third of profit after tax -but need to consider capital commitments -especially in relation to Karo (although looking at loan finance)
Looks like more disappointment, missed deadlines and broken promises -if any significant was imminent the shareprice would not be bubbling along circa 7p
Anyone can deliver general tweets on metal prices and other companies ‘ progress.
For once in your life Mr Bird deliver an event that materially benefits the shareholders here.
What is the reason for the continued delay in the issuing of the Luansobe licence-its like watching paint that never dries !
Good move -should help the shareprice as market free float is not all that large -hope no change in minimum dividend payout
Very good results -like many companies Next appears not to like handing out the majority of it’s profits as hard cash in the form of dividends-There use to be an upper shareprice for buybacks -now it occurs whatever the price-
No one should gloat in others misfortune but this is exactly what Bushy did here for the last 3 years as the shaeprce fell mirroring the downtrend in PGM prices-even very recently he was telling people to sell here and hinting that they should reinvest in HUM-I told him of the net current liability position in HUM and things would be dire if production targets not met-I just got more abuse
Hoping for some genuine news -surely this will not join the line of ever expanding AIM companies that promise a lot and ultimately deliver nothing
Thanks Happydays43 -you mention a copper play opening at 40p-big question -how many shares are there and hence what is the over all valuation .?
300 million shares would be completely different from JLPs 3 billion for example
Has JP done it again-building up expectation to ultimately deliver very little or nothing?
Most of the CEOs of small caps would make excellent politicians
Thanks Analytical -two edged sword -in someways good to see progress nearby but in other ways gives the appearance that the Birdman and the board are not currently delivering any tangible value for shareholders -if others can progress why can’t Glr.
Can’t wait to be proved wrong
Very good to see strong chrome and copper prices and so far a moderate recovery in PGM prices-looking very good especially if copper output targets meet.-chrome very cash generative at the moment
If you want some fun -take a trip to the HUM board -an old friend is suffering hum hum
Chrisp -are you happy with the current shareprice -near the yearly low.
We were promised a very rewarding October last year and nothing was forthcoming.?
Why is the licence application not proceeding and what has happened to the samples sent off to the lab months ago?
What has the company achieved in the last year that has actually benefitted the shareprice?
Apologies for late posting as other side of the pond at present-well invested here
Until Colin gets of his backside and concludes a deal the price of copper or any other deal is irrelevant
