The Republic of Zimbabwe own 15% of the Karo project via Generation Minerals so in their interests to get project into production ASAP-The outstanding finance has two elements

-Lender syndicate $208 million described as “advanced”

-Strategic investment -$121 million described as “progessing “

Would have thought both would have been finalized before any announcement.

Hopefully news soon -production 18 months from finance finalization.

In the meantime as Mike1959 has pointed out only one month to end of half year which should yield bumper results.-high PGM and chrome prices in tandem

Hope this will be reflected in an increased dividend -might get to the 2.5 cents to 3 cents range -fingers crossed

Feeks -nothing to stop people close to those who bought in after Glencore buying/selling enough shares to keep the shareprice within a narrow range.

Every time there was a very positive RNS (such as updates on NPV of project) there was never a material positive shareprice reaction even when it was stated that a strategic partner would be announced-every time a positive RNS activated enough share sales to prevent any upward share movement.

Find this very strange

Should be multiples of this if the shareprice had not been manilupated down and low ball $150 million ((plus small royalty ) for 87.5 % of project with NPV in excess of $10 billion!

Yes Chrisp -I am sure everyone will be opening a bottle of vintage Bollinger to celebrate the shareprice closing marginally above the year to date low.

How can giving away 87,5% of a project with a Net present value of $10 billion for $875 million be a mega deal (plus the small 1% of sales revenue).

A 65% give away would have been much more fair and acceptable to many -

If people took any notice of what you posted the shareprice would be 10p plus.

The shareprice reflects the market’s opinion of the performance (lack of) by the company and the CEO.

Despite a booming commodity market the shareprice is at a years low.

It does not help that Bird indicated that Luansobe would be in production by October 2024 and no tangible progress has been reported following the RNS five months ago.

To raise the possibility of further placings if no money is generated from the projects in the next few months is not moaning or negative-it is realistic prediction especially Bird’s love of discounted placings in nearly all of the companies he is involved in

Cyberiachas -I totally agree the shareprice would be in a total different place if Bird had actually got one of the assets into production or sold on -no need for the last dilution with the added insult of further dilution if the shareprice ever reaches the heights of 1.6p which looks like a pipe dream.

The Bird groupies on here will tell you Bird not generating any revenue for the company is for the “greater good” and further dilution is some part of a master plan .

The market continues to speak -Bird’s current approach whatever that may be is a total disaster for longterm shareholders.

Only way to raise concerns is to attend the next AGM as any other approaches to the company questioning the performance are always ignored

The price reflects the utter failure of Bird to get any deal over the line-waffle and hot air deliver nothing.

Come on Mr Bird - time to deliver or resign and employ a fulltime CEO who can commit to more than a few hours a month.

Utter farce

Datacheck -there are many examples of where a change of CEO with a more focused approach has lead to a large increase in shareprice.

Take a look at Strategic Minerals -they had a CEO who was full of hot air who delivered little.

Under a year ago the shareprice was .15p -a new CEO and focused management team came in who are dedicated to get things moving.

Today the shareprice is 3.5p with a real chance of it going to 10p plus.

If only something similar could happen here

Chrisp -there is nothing “bitter or twisted “ about wanting a return on an investment held for ten years.

You can big up all the “hope with no substance” words coming from the mouth of Bird.

It is perfectly logical to question Bird’s continued non delivery of returns and point out that a fulltime CEO might deliver a lot more than a very much part time CEO who probably spends a maximum of a few hours a month on GLR.

To “Make Galileo Great Again” it needs a fulltime dedicated CEO.

So much easier for Bird to do a diluting placement (probably a couple of phone calls) than spending the time and putting the effort in to get a deal over the line,

Totally agree BS we need a fulltime CEO not vague woolly words ever so often.

Every time there is a dilution shareholders stakes are reduced and the prospect of large future shareprice rises are reduced especially if bargain basement options are attached to the placing

Very much doubt if they want the shareprice to rise before the RAM deal is signed (in the absence of any other third party deal).

The lower the shareprice the stronger the argument for the RAM deal

Funkysausage -nice idea of Bird giving us an update on his failure to advance LUANSOBE or SHINGANDA and why the “hoped for deadlines” have now passed.

Unfortunately very unlikely -better to keep those pesky shareholders in the dark without an explanation

The five months is up and nothing achieved.

The most likely next significant RNS most likely will be another discounted placing.

That’s the problem BSmonitor-most people here are aware of Bird’s continued hot air and non delivery and it won’t be long before Country’s granting production licenses will come to the same conclusion.They can not only revoke licenses that are not being used they can also decide not to grant future licenses to companies that fail to utilize current licenses.

The whole point of granting licenses is to create jobs and tax revenues -not to be sat on

Expecting to be once again totally underwhelmed -if a positive RNS was imminent the shareprice would not be stuck in it’s under 1p “Groundhog Day doom loop”

I thought we should have had news on the completion on the final financing of Karo by now.
