When tracking back through time in last 5 years . Only time ops update was not first few days of Feb was due to another announcement being made . Maybe / hopefully holding out to mid Feb to say we are at the 500m debt level . Am I just dreaming this possibility ? Or is it possible in reality ?

I believe a Chartist who gave some technical analysis recently said we neddd to drop to fill a gap at 21.4 to move up more aggressively so im hoping this is a good thing today even if we do go down ;-)

When debt will be around 500 million I am guessing and then potential plans can be unveiled

Malaysia doing well though, increased from H2 update and not in North Sea so that is great!

I guess only 4 months to wait

Personally I would like to see buybacks before dividends even though would love both of course. The buybacks here in terms of amount versus valuation is going to have a much bigger impact. The ups and downs are driven by low volume so a consistent buying programme will help get the momentum back and get the share price back to where it’s should be. Atleast for 2023. Dividend in 2024.

I have just topped up to . Just wish it was this time next year as when we start buy backs / dividends etc the market won’t be able to keep this down or worst case we get our money back and more from being patient . Very different time to previous recessions! Let’s see!

I’ve not seen it happen at end of day like that before , normally on opening bell after an announcement or piece of news. So I think as someone’s mentioned there was something coming down the pipe late on in the day they got wind of. Hopefully good news!

That was me! Wasn’t so smart as initially bought at 2.28 and stupidly continued to catch a falling knife . Sold everything in feb to get the capital loss , made the loss back on enquest / I3e and a few other oilers and now back in again!
