Its not very often that a company like SQZ come along, Nautical petroleum was the last E & P for me that multi-bagged and I sat on a 100,000 Faroes Petroleum accrued over ten years and made £30k!!

Like a lot on here I have a very substantial holding and took the opportunity to purchase another 50,000 at 90p which I will trade at some point -after the dividend.
Sasa you speak my language re Investment trusts, they are my tortoises and I have seen my portfolio far outstrip most of my hares. Do I have a soft spot for Serica - oh yes - which keeps me having a wary eye on forthcoming events.

Thought I was a wise sage, buying initially at 36p and the SP subsequently rising to 50 odd pence - bought more on return to around 30p thinking a rebound was due. Say no more, averaged down on the way and now sat with half a million in the bottom drawer - ouch.

I would put it another way - we have just recovered to above the 110p position we were at when Bruce was shut in. V shaped recovery still leaves us 20% or so down from where we were, with dividend now forthcoming, R3 now in play and Columbus ever nearer.

Didn't see much buying at the lows, with most LTH just battening down the hatches. Having happened after the Bruce shut in with SP around 110p, I did my usual, top up purchases way to early in the 90-100p range. Never lost the faith, just my cash float!!! Well done if your timing was spot on.

Expensive Well, re cash in hand, when SQZ have to pay £16m to Bp after 90 days of a successful R3. Now how many days of increased gas from Rhum does that equate too?? Iranian cut??

I do keep a weather eye on Investment Trusts like, DIVI,MINI, HOT, for example, some of which I invest in to see if SQZ has been added. Seems a sensible choice with both a sound divi and capital growth.

Not knocking JOG Dick, I may well consider purchase with recent profits on SQZ - as well as substantial dividend. As you say - value will out

Eyewatering for myself is a paper loss of 70k - not my best endeavour, albeit a lot of research and initial buy at 36p prior to a rise to 50 odd pence. And then Liberator. more at 24p still believing, especially after Serenity.
Now like most, have added and now in the bottom drawer.

Morning flexmw, been here a long time myself, circa 2009 and been amply rewarded. I was more inferring the timing was perfect for Directors to show more skin in the game and indirectly support the SP. Not a big fan of Directors rewarding themselves with options and bonuses for all their hard work - reminds me to much of FPM.
Strange times, I know Dick is a fan of JOG as well as SQZ, which didn't work for me from TRAP days, so realised my losses on 10,000 JOG shares for the last tax year and was just about to realise some profits in SQZ and Covid struck. Hey ho rolled the loss over to this tax year and bought more SQZ. GLA.

Word on the street is that this is still under negotiation between Premier and BP due to covid. I wonder??

Even though I had a hankering of BP re entering the fray, I sadly suspect that our Namiba Licence has been relinquished in these strange times. No doubt we will find out shortly.

I'm not Mr Hardy but have a holding, considerably in excess of the 250,000 quoted by Dick below. A 2p dividend would be most welcome, in these times. It may well alleviate selling , even at the price we are now for people that bought when Serica was sub 10p. I still wonder why the Hardy's didn't offload some of their holding at 140p.

Heather was down for decommissioning and Thistle is down-manned due to COS tank failure and was unlikely to be ever started back up.

Took the opportunity of another 25,000 Friday, as NewKOTB intimates, intervention appears to be complete and I suspect that Bruce are busy bringing the Fields back online. Whether peops get the opportunity to purchase first thing at 97p depends on RNS, but still a solid buy.

but not to much purchasing going on by Pi's at these levels. Myself I have added 25,000 this week at 109p, adding back the tranche I sold at 141p. The Platforms not falling down, nor is the gas dissipating, only deferred profits. I have a feeling that this will be back in production earlier than 2 months, whilst thankful for management erring on the side of caution as weather inhibits intervention at times. Reasonable risk/reward for myself and I like following the trend.

Freed up another 30k, so its a pretty good risk reward scenario to purchase additional shares from my own perspective. Management are well aware of the 2 month cessation of production they perceived a couple of weeks ago and are no doubt fast tracking a solution. Now whats going to happen if they bring production back online earlier?? - Cup half empty might say whats going to happen if later - I will err on management solution. GLA

Like to think you guys are on the same page as myself and took sub 110p as a buying opportunity. Small beer but added another 10,000 to the pot.
