I seem to recall from BP days that there was a technical reason why R3 was never brought into production. As the infrastructure is in place including a production tree, I am surmising that whatever the reason its downhole, hence the reason for an inspection programme and workover in the new year. I'm no expert re completions so your guess is good as mine. It certainly sounded solvable from BP,s initial intervention that was cancelled due to Sanctions. Whilst awaiting developments, I have taken a position in i3e - perhaps Serica may run the slide rule after the first drill next month- interesting either way.

seems to have raised a talking point somewhat. With regard to Diving Operations within the UK Sector the HSE (as per ACoP L103) have no concerns with saturation diving down to a limit of 200m.

Design is always adapting to limit any intervention onto subsea assets. The recent Islay Manifold was a diver installation, involving a 110 Tonne Piping Module and 70te Control Module, being installed within the Islay Manifold. The design incorporated intervention by WROV interfacing which would ultimately lead to cost savings.

Diving Contractors now consider diving between 200 and 250m acceptable and have procedures in place. A number ofoversea's projects last year involved diving within these ranges. in Brazil they conduct diving operations down to 300m.

I see no reason why Technip FMC did not utilise divers in this reasonably shallow depth - nor why Hurricane would go to the expense of diverless tie ins which increase costs tenfold.

Lancaster is in 160 metres of seawater and well within the range of intervention by saturation divers. Technip are involved with subsea tie ins etc for Hurricane and have and will use diver intervention when necessary. Once the depth range exceeds 200m things become more difficult although 200-250m is well within their capabilities albeit costs go up dramatically. Diving is routinely conducted on Magnus Field in 186msw

Very rarely do I hear any negativity with regard to SQZ, but am puzzled by the relative low volume of share transactions - in either direction.

I would expect most peops would be happy with 20-25% increase in the SP, whether they are multibag chasers or not. SQZ is past that stage now, so why are LTH not accruing ?? Eggs in one basket perhaps or waiting to see what Mr & Mrs do with there substantial holding?

I took one of those flips, as a considered first tranche. Have been following with interest over the last year and do like to see a minnow in the pond with a viable asset. It has potential.

If you mean we have ranged for the last 6 months, you would be correct. There's been only one opportuniy to top up at 110p before we have returned to our present level. No debt, producing assets and an increasing cash reserve.

Whats not to like, other than our momentum has stymied - nothing sold and happy to see where we are in another 6 months. Now back to "playing" with ECO and i3e.
