Luckily or unluckily I had FPM bought out, which has left me with funds just in case a rights issue that I can buy into appears. Or at least add on any dilution.

Columbus development and hopefully Rowallon development will require funding. Being prescient (if only) BP Andrew could well be another asset going forward in time - you never know. Not to sure on the design of the FPSO Winch, but would possible it will render prior to reaching the MBL of the recovery line. New design of Cranes for subsea operations have the facility for active heave or constant tension. Similarly a Diving bell has the facility to have motion compensation to negate vessel heave.

As you say, new recovery rope and lets get on with it. Took the opportunity too top up my holding. GLA

I think you will find that either Bluewater or Hurricane have a spare recovery line and they are looking at either a DSV or ROVSV to install if it has failed at the buoy end. I believe Technip are their preferred sub contractor for install - perhaps some of the ship watchers could define where the Artic or Explorer DSV's are currently as they have WROV and Diver capability

From memory, R3 Well has all the infrastructure in place and is essentially completed once a Drill rig has completed a workover to remove the plugs/ barriers from the well. I note that Sasa mentioned a side drill in a previous message, is this detailed anywhere??

The last 6 months has hopefully given all of us a chance to lower your average / add / or just trade. Core holding been in the bottom drawer for some time now but I do enjoy some of the chat here.

I am a perpetual optimist with a company like this with no debt and producing assets. It just needs momentum. My other holdings SQZ (bless her) and FPM (snapped up) show what might happen. Its time just might be near.

If Mr & Mrs Hardy being a midlands based couple with a business are looking at tax planning, it will be interesting to see if they maintain their full holding. It would steady the ship if a large tranche went to another II. Have a large holding myself on my portfolio perspective , but having had to sell my holding in FPM I'm sitting on my hands. SQZ still very much a company in development and should go from strength to strength. Very comfortable with running a winner. GLA

Whilst I like the comment re Serica's Erskine Field, Chevron is the main operator with Chrysaor and Erskine having a percentile. Chevrons is up for sale so be interesting in who pays top dollar.

For me, Serica has all the attributes I need - no debt, producing assets, momentum and some appealing licences going forward. Whats not to like.

trying hard to balance my portfolio Maverick, I did have a number of rainbows from 2009 in addition to my IT portfolio. 1 million shares in Trap Oil that floundered with a loss of £65K and a similar amount in Serica at an average of 10p. Have divested 25% recently but loath to balance further at present !!!

Been a LTH in both for a long time Sasa. I concur, that peops should be looking at SQZ as a home. Chasing rainbows on other E & P's without producing assets and no debt is not for me. Nice to have a war chest at this moment in time.

sold at 160p - another 120,000 FPM for DNO. Onwards an upwards with SQZ as my last LTH. GLA.
