Dividends in an isa are tax free. Recently I chucked 10k into this, in my isa. It doesn’t stack up not to have the tax relief otherwise. I’m Obviously attracted by the dividend and considered it maybe a sprat to catch a mackerel? Not sure, but I’ll reinvest the dividend and ride out the aftermath beyond this week as there are some very interesting aspects to this company.

Average is 4.20. I Have every faith in this well run company. Happy to hold these until they eventually get swallowed up by some USA conglomerate or Asian enterprise for £zillions!

One of the reasons I don’t filter any posters is because this continued deramp of bpc, although very tiresome, is providing me the perfect opportunity to keep adding more stock....

Ive been following this share for a little while, my interest solely driven by the dividends but not yet bought in. Its interesting what Chumba points out about BME. I bought into that during xdd week for 4.94, held for the dividend that is 4p +25p special, and sold on the friday for 4.94. It was partly luck as I expected a bigger drop, but there had been a rally upto 5.10 also during the week so the dividend was possibly factored in at the higher price.
I'm aiming to get IMB between the £13-£3.50 range and while I do not wish a loss for current holders I hope it gets there pre the next xdd.

Icemax-Thanks for the link.... Brave Davis and the PLP know the benefits of proving up the oil asset in The Bahamas. The next election isnt until 2022 so all good for us, and I doubt the fnm will ignore a multi national Oil Company supporting future production. Roll on 15th December.

These negative posters are all the same, I’ve seen them come and go for years across most bbs. They have no appetite for risk, they do not understand the nature of the business they comment on and they have very limited finances. I read some of their posts in total bewilderment... their kids and parents must be very proud of them..!

Laallee.... True-things are different... I recall the Argentinian government threatening action of the Falkland oil rights in 2010.. & rumours of military action again..... But,in the Bahamas the worse you’ll get is a few conch fishing boats and a wanna be lawyer waving a white paper from the pier.

We had an RNS Tuesday confirming drill wil happen the day before lawsuit. The bod knew the activists would start their campaign.... Why do you want another RNS to state the same thing? Icemax will be warming up the engines soon enough.

ZagEgypt.... no doubt the warrior is in its way to ES LPA, track shows it’ll be in port at 4pm local today. Don’t fret- our drill is named perseverance for a reason!
