Impact on Farm-In Process

In the coming months the Company will continue to assess options for a farm-out or similar transaction, and is pleased that, notwithstanding the global crisis occasioned by the Covid-19 virus and the recent material decline in global oil prices, a number of interested parties, including oil and gas majors and supermajors, have indicated that they would wish for discussions to continue, albeit on a timeline matched to the global operating situation and the Company's revised drilling plans.

In addition, in recent weeks, the global crisis occasioned by the Covid-19 virus has seen a number of potentially value-creating alternative strategic options presented to the Company, which the Company is seeking to evaluate over the coming months. The Company will advise shareholders on this matter as appropriate.

Has everything changed due to covid? Or are we still on board with the “transformational year & ongoing talks with Major/supermajor’ RNS....

Afternoon all, just popped in to catch up. There’s some really interesting comments. We are all trying to guess the thinking behind the merger and what the thought process of both bods is. I’m generally a positive person so I look at the recent announcement as a chain of events unfolding. Do I trust Potter with my money.... mmmm, I have to take his track record into account of producing share holder value. Like Bonum, I had a nagging doubt over perv 1..... is this merger a step away from the Bahamas? Surely not?? We have agreements in place for the drill, equipment has been purchased and in storage, we have a drill team in Houston ready to mobilise..... so I put that doubt to bed.
Looking forward, I’m positive for this year at bpc and all that it brings.... it’s a company changing year according to our bod....
As always, I’ll wait for the RNSs to see when I need to move my goalposts....

SP was 1.8p a couple of weeks back, it’s now 2.5- 3p. We have at least 6 months of company changing news to come then who knows what could happen in 2021?
I’ll be voting Yes for this merger as I believe it is part of a bigger picture which us ship mates aren’t privy to...yet.

I’ve been watching the cerp bb today and the majority of holders seem bemused... 74% of their assets including a drill with NPV at £90.3m are being passed to bpc for £25m....

PoC, I agree. This deal should go through around August, at least 4 months before Stena arrive in the Bahamas. There is a bigger picture unfolding here.

Looks as though a few have got their knickers in a twist... need to look beyond the tip of your nose. The oil market is changing and the Bod of bpc are taking advantage of it.

Putting your wedge in any aim quoted company is not for the nervous investor imo, but equally ftse 100 companies don’t come with a money back guarantee....
We do as much research as possible, dip our toe, start to accumulate and hopefully our exit strategies work out...
I’m more than happy with bpc and the the light at the end of this 10 year+ tunnel I’d getting closer.
