The thing with being a shareholder in a mining prospect is you have to have patience…..and time.. I reckon I’ve got about 25 years (pending any bugs or elderly falls) before I need age care support and will need my cash back from cobra….;-)
But by then I’ll be too old to work a computer or remember where I left my cobra shares…

I've got a couple of metro personal accounts and only use online- but had a quick look in the St Albans branch last week.... its looking a bit tired. The plant stands only have mud and a few weeds and plenty of rubbish, the desk areas- 11 in total, were all empty apart from one and the general decor looked like it could do with some updating. So either the company have cut back on all maintenance or the manager is not paying attention to detail... In any case some spending in store is required and will no doubt hit the bottom line at some point

Good point on share buybacks, a lot of companies are doing them lately, I suppose we have to wonder -does Metro have the funds for that? I’d say probably not..at the moment..

its been a long slog getting back to £1.40 and Ive taken a few off the table. But I do believe the trend is with Metro and the banks in general, so will buy some back after results, (which I think will be positive but nothing to get excited about)- whether that be £1 or £2.

according to lse there are generally more daily sells than buys- but the SP is ceeping up- so the single trades are having some effect... company controlled?

to be fair- the director is buying monthly... showing support and confidence... he's now upto 391 shares... That'll give odey sleepless nights....

sold a few more.... this share was supposed to be a long term accumulator for me- but its bonkers- 80p jump in just over 24 hours- its behaving like some of the wildcat oil drilling companies I'm addicted to!....

Ive been in BSE for a few years, and I occassionally top up, adding a few more today. The divi is fab- just hope it continues!

You will recall cyberdoggy that the Carlyle bid talk of £1,40 in Nov '21 seriously undervalued metro according to the bod.... dont shoot them down just yet- it may actually get somewhere in the next 18 months...

I agree, this looks like a minor dip before the boe and Lloy seems to be holding up...I know we've had 100% uplift in a few months but it does look like its on a trajectory... just at a slower pace.- I did off load a few last week to put into some tech but I do believe MTRO will hit £2 at some point this year..... we'll see.

I also took advantage of the 700 leap- plenty still in the pot though. It may well retrace and as others mention OCDO does seem to be caught as a traders share. The talk of a major hic cup in the markets does seem to be doing the rounds on various podcasts-but Im not sure, a lot of companies are doing very well. Slightly off topic but I'm also a holder of thg and it was interesting to see the start up fund kelso take a stake- albeit 0.4% - in the company as they see a gap in oversold territory. Maybe tech has been hit too hard and is due some uplift?

I continue to add to my holding here, only a 1000 shares at a time- but it’s now turning into a weekly exercise- so at some point I’d like to be rewarded for my efforts…before I run dry…. a bounce would be welcome.

Indeed…. The £3m raised in January has been spent all in one go…. On one share…..Reminds me of my childhood birthday and getting £10 from an Aunt- the next day I spent it all on one giant gobstopper….

Kelso believes this is an exciting first investment for its shareholders.....(thats what we all thought when we first bought into THG) ;-).....But, Well done so far- your 5m purchase yesterday at 54p has increased by £250k already today....
