Well A-J1 was drilled by Soekor in 1988 as a stratigraphic test of the A-J Graben in what is now Block 2B, offshore RSA. The well found 36 ° API oil in the lacustrine sediments of Hauterivian age. The original hole suffered mud losses when drilling the Lacustrine Sequence, and was eventually side-tracked due to a stuck drill-pipe……
There’s a possibility that Gazania has similarities in mud losses….but The reservoir quality of the sands is expected to improve updip to the A-J1 well due to lesser overburden. Located in 150 meters of water, this lead covers possibly 16 square kilometers!

its not really buying high at under 2p is it? In all probability most pi shareholders in COBR have a sizeable holding and dont consider selling at these levels, its a longer term play. I hazard a guess that the sells are churn from placings?

A rise in the dividend must be on the cards next year..... the downside is that it'll probably come on the day Hunt hits us with a dividend tax! In one hand.....

there’s always a wobble in the sp pre drill result, I think we had ours Wednesday when it dipped to 34p….
I have seen flash crashes on others oil shares I’ve owned , ( around sealion results years ago RKH dropped from £3 to 70p and back to £3.50 in about 10 minutes) so always keep a bit of cash aside for those crazy scenarios.
Let’s hope we have no drill delays/mud falls and that we hit the payload as I’m still holding a lot of Eco shares… I’ll see how today/ Monday goes- 45p anyone?
