In the report Jindal of India say they'd need $2bn for a railway but of course already there were two Chinese companies interested overall one was wanting to build the port another the railway-these hadn't up to now settled or given time scales and not specifically to help AFF there being several other iron ore mines coming forth in southern Cameroon..note my earlier post about the mystery of IMIC being SMALLER than AFF.IMIC have a Chinese company, Chinese Railway Group who are in the billions class associated with the "strategic partner" of IMIC, another company AIOG> Investegate article 19.4.12 see that,these Chinese people were also mentioned indirectly in the IC article last week.IC continue to see this AFF situation as getting somewhere...

not in BZM,however if you get up to 4 interested some have to drop out sometime,so no probs.really,we aren't there by a long chalk a lot still to happen here..

looking at Bellzone seems a bit alike where a Chinese company and the country are in partnership with Bellzone...might be an idea for AFF to have that plan..

NAV's are often hard to find and depend on valuations which can vary by sources..see if its there..no..but Panmure Gordon and SP Angel are valuing at from 225p to 279p now..

not at all aimed at you was today enjoying reading some sharedealing books - it seems top traders often average UP which involves protecting capital by trading off profits it involves selling as the SP rises so you hold less as riskier higher SP's...The NAV is useful to assess companies, which is assets minus liabilities divided by number of shares -here being better as the no of shares is lower..

A test of nerve which you must have to hold shares,otherwise you must hold your money in a tiny % bank a/c but then you risk inflation chipping away at it.In fact life is dangerous it's safer being dead..

First the SP has almost doubled in about 3 months.Though I said no deal wasn't totally unlikely,it wouldn't be a "negative" in my book.Cash there,no probs.This "Chinese Railway Group" the associates of IMIC might be one of the real players not IMIC who might be a smaller front man-IC mentioned them in passing nothing defo though.They have billions and are up a 1/3 in less than a year.Yes they do railways mostly but their interests include mining too.Certainly railways need built in the area to get the ore to port.Yes any major wouldn't need to bother much about the fee or including shares unless aznother was in there.As at present two other Chinese companies are wanting to do the railway and the port though nothing seems fixed up to now.Yes a lot of assumptions there..

yes "meh". on re-reading, it sounds as if "no deal" might be front runner ???? It isn't too inspiring sounding really for a company getting several approaches.They do have money backing from their cash pile and have no need to rush into anything or feel forced to sell out. I'm easy either way..

that sounds a bit baffling-the "potential offerer" -discussions are "continuing" ? They had several weeks to decide...who knows ? At least now there's at least 3 in the frame,the "potential offerer" plus the "other parties". The possibility of no deal is also not ruled out. Choices- 1. the "potential offeror" 2. and 3. the "other parties", must be at least two 4. no deal Mind now explodes lol..

IC revealed that IMIC yes are small but have a deal with a strong Chinese company Chinese Railway Group..so don't underestimate IMIC..here it was in April the "strategic partner of IMIC , AIOG announced a partnership with the CRG"-that's on the IMIC website there.

article in last weeks' IC mag. about CNE,Greenland not till 2014 they think the other irons in the fire are quite good.Greenland at moment is zero rated.

I have no idea what you invest in these days but our VPF's are "missing" the iii top monthly mining risers so far-AYM,CZA,AMC,NUS,etc. though further down the lists I see BEM and BAO but not CNR or ANGM any more unlike a month ago ??? And of course I had flipped out of including a top riser, AQP +42% lol.

About 900,000 volume there,which is around £900,000 compared to a £104.75m Mcap,less than 1% share trading.Yes it's a medium sized company but few shares were in play on Friday.Which seems to suggest most were sitting tight awaiting events next week,the sensible thing to do.If no deals emerged,the company has a good future still with a nice cash pile.Yes maybe the main barrier is the lack of exact dates to go-ahead on the port and new railway.2 Chinese companies are in to do that work.

Prar has never been Last in 3 years I believe,or even negative scoring! JT congrats there! I know a bit about ANGM and it was a top notcher a few weeks ago as I had said then- but the "famous" YA Global are in there alike to AGQ and RRR..say no more..anyway I hold that there will be several 10-baggers in that collection,and Jib might be the dark horse..I'm majorly shocked I'm not Last,I thought +4.5% wasn't enough,it won't be soon..thanks again to JT without which we'd have nothing!

A moderate week overall,but promise to come for several Are RRR looking towards 2 deals ? LRL are hoping for 2 gas strikes. PAF top runner this week but cheap RI shares are in play from now on.AFF will they get 2 competing for a T/O next week including the rumour of RIO being one of them ? AHT +88% last year has been quiet,as also have SDY and BOY .Not expecting more than last this week then.

though some might be gambling no deals next week,its a tight market everywhere,few with profits so they tend to grab them when they see them to pay for other disaster areas which I know about lol! Just keeping calm all we can do.

it might involve Chinese input,since the projected ore railway from near the border with Congo to the south Cameroon coast is being planned by a Chinese company,anothe Chinese company is planning to build the ore port.
