the Scotsman report says much the same though there is to be a loan involved;however contrast the "residual" of CI of $1.1bn value only,and the expected $2bn plus their projects will cost-more than your quote that paper says-yes net cash of $1.6bn.Of course they aren't in the poor house on these figures but unless they hit pay dirt in that phase there might not be an equivalent shot in their locker for another time...

AIOG had a JV with SOGUIPAMI last April to develop a railway with the Guinea govt. and finace the Simandou iron ore project there..the JV was called IMG..also then IMIC got in with that consortium.There's also the Chinese Railway Group a very big company $billions at the back of those..yes don't underestimate IMIC just small but with big friends..

AIM is not always excluded though many are -some AIM shares do get into ISAs from being "listed on two reputable exchanges".AEX,AQP,XEL are examples that are ISAable but not FTSE350.

it is not a rule that the lower the dealing fees the better the broker as in fact some low fee ones are financially unstable potentially.You need too to check the security of large cash sums held sometimes beweeen trades as all UK banks offer a certain amount covered in case of meltdown,does your broker though ? Dealing too often even if successful does too increase the %age take from your gross turnover of dealing charges and if not in an ISA,also of UK taxes.

ISAs are easier- 1. you need not include on any UK tax form 2. no UK tax fees 3. you must stick within adding 10k or so pa-check with HMRC site 4. it is hard finding which are ISAable-this is-they must deal through two exchanges for AIM usually plus most FTSE350 too. there are some lists however check on net.GL.

GL to you,my stake here isn't a big slice but hopefully another eventual profit to add to that earlier in the week though I threw it all back in again lol.I think this time though I shall stick it out to the end wherever it leads to justify trying here twice.

the info Myst gave us there shows even more that "rogue" report of a Jindal withdrawal was poorly researched.Still amazed at Bloomberg giving it publicity,and that they didn't or couldn't have themselves check it out fully,if they had they would have seen it was spurious.You'd question the motives of whoever made it up.No doubt many who were thrown out in the drop from 100p to 83p or so are fizzing now.Yes I came back in luckily quite easy to do in an ISA.I got fewer shares but with a little more cash to put in.Of course some of the bidders not destined to succeed must drop out sometime which might result in a nonlinear rise but this is a time to keep your nerve,GL.

and of course I'd "knock" a takeover as low as 70p as would almost certainly all the directors who themselves would lose financially off their gone, in effect, options.They have a fall back position in event of rejection of a too low bid which is going on independently.Which isn't a bad option compared to selling to any rock bottom offer.And no doubt in any card vote the shareholders would agree.

I hardly think the directors would accept 70p to sell.Far better if that was the case to go on and seek partners to develop the iron assets with the help of the $90m cash pile.Which was the only thing on the table before knowing about these possible bids.It's a "downside marker" maybe but it is totally out of the question.
