whoever builds the railway including the Cam. govt. would want a stake in AFF too..so the Chinese will be dark horses here also considering quite a few other African iron projects ongoing e.g. Bellzone in Guinea for example where there will be integration between the govt,the Chinese JV, and the iron from Bellzone itself...

What we have from the chart is 100p roughly =max. so far.; 82p or around=where it fell to on the Jindal pull-out rumour;60p= the level in December before T/O speculation came.Yes in event of announcing a stoppage of any T/O talks or maybe a major being named as withdrawing leaving IMIC "interested",we'd get into the 60p to 83p zone again.Now however some holders are making a basic error.The absence of a railway(and even if it were announced NOW it would still be absent for up to 2 years from now),was KNOWN all the way through by all players.That was why the Jindal rumour was suspect as it named concerns about "no railway" a fact known by all players months before as I saidIf anyone pulls out it will be after D/D or due to lack of finance they can pledge here.There were the last time I looked two Chinese companies plus the Cam. govt. "interested" in building a railway.Yes no solid plans yet.Road transport remains,there are reasonable roads to the port.A port exists already though getting upgrades.Yes as myst says some AFF resources are nearer the coast.I'll be researching more on railways plans and ports but already checked roads which are reasonable as I said.

Now the support at 83p is broken the next level is 60p where there were no bids in December.Having bidding inevitably leaves you open to these ups or downs.Diverting from the reality AFF has the iron,has the cash pile and potential road use.Yes of course no mine yet.IMIC might be in fact clever they will make money longer term here.But no bids coming ?

with about 17m MCap how can IMIC TO AFF with even at this depressed level have a MCap of £88m ? They have powerful backers who might come in though.The IMIC shares and swapped director show IMIC in themselves are after as few £million profit but they can only ever be a minor member of any TO consortium.It is still those in the shadows who hold the real money,until they emerge from the shadows which must too depend on railway shenanigans ? You are discovering taking AIM shares for a few days might get you in there a good while,join the club lol.Though not funny been there often.

Intereresting looking at charts.There are now several distinct levels. 1. 60p the base reached Decemberish,is the SP band for when there is no takeover interest.Only if all TO interest goes will AFF return there which looks rather unlikely now ? 2. about 83p is where the reversal of the earlier fall from 100p to 83p happened.Many sold from 100p to 83p after a wrong rumour from India that Jindal were pilling out.So a lot rebought near 83p stemming the fall.The SP seems to have halted above there again.I'd say 83p is now a strong resistance level on the chart. 3. 90p is where the IMIC options are now though note up to 6.8% isn't enough you need 30% to force a card vote on board entry.IMIC at least hope to gain even if someone else takes over they should. 3. about 100p is the max. reached so far. 4. 140p is the highest SP quoted in January as a level for sale. 5. about 280p the highest broker price for value. In all of this the railway can only come within at least about 2 years,which means this might play out a while and seems also to depend on the other shenanigans on that etc.Chinese companies appear likely to be in the pie somewhere because of that ?

for all the takeover froth to go AFF would need to return to where it was in December,60p.So the fact AFF isn't near there,yet, shows takeover thinking from shareholders is still on the table.There's enough buyers so far to keep it up there,though yes it has been sliding.Most who bought during the last slip from 100p to about 83p are getting into or near losses.Especially near 83p where the fall was stopped.So some kind of support mechanism may kick in where we are now or getting near to.This doesn't take in what the main players are doing behind the scenes.This isn't over till you see an RNS saying it is.I still don't think you'll see that.With IC's comments this will be seen as a bargain play for many with hopes of good upside coming in a week or so ?

yes it seems on a slippery slope now but possibly we forget easily it was near 60p.For the action since then in December to be a true spike it would need to fall back down there again.No panic at this stage needed.Who ever might take this over or even if AFF stays independent the railway won't be built too soon.This is always a medium term scenario whichever way the wind blows.

+29.5% for AQP but it had been swapped for AFF late on in the VPF,and though getting several bids has gone down 10.07%...

of social comment-marriage is the T/O while more popular partnerships are the JV's etc.

yes this seems a favoured method these days,few T/Os these days as risk capital is gold dust-consortiums,partnerships etc.keep your own identity,teamwork.Share or swap directors..

JT- AGQ Sandstone over there had been e mailing them,they appear to be doing their best given a third party is on control of the ball mill which has held up operations for several months..very frustrating..silver appears better though that doesn't help.AIM is up 205% since the start of this bull market in March 2009,the FTSE100 176% figures up to Wed.So it is mining which hasn't yet recovered within AIM.Some of course are better-NYM,BAO at least.I thought of selling some poor miners to raise cash for other share purchases but on balance-no.

looking like a poor 0% or so week-RRR,LRL and AFF hang fire on moves to shape their year,probably in February,one worrying is SDY-no booming hire market..few vans buzzing about.. Prar' has ANGM suspended on non payment of debts .. alike to HMV, restructuring might come..in R/L was tempted by NANO but of course shares that deceive from loss making small technos were typified by FBT last year lol -anyone for "quantum dots" ..bet you never knew you wanted those..finally saw a comment from JT on RRR which was true but not funny..argghh..

I've been amazed in the past at similar episodes.Only two situations were apparently in the past brought to the attention of the FSA resulting in fines and these were voluntarily submitted it appears,though the FSA is now being reorganised it seems..so these eventualities are less suprising..
