That is why crisis meetings need held involving asking the questions like -"where are we going" "have we a Plan B". You and I do that asking ourselves "am I a success".From the honest answers comes worthwhile positivity and actions. At least I have suggested a way forward.I'm only a non entity with no throughput anywhere,I don't e mail anyone important in business at all.Thinking outside the box,left field ideas that is the way forward.There's a few other possibilities-going private,become a cash shell etc.

I hope some see I'm being positive and constructive in my RRR posts.Maybe Natasha or someone might read that ? GL.

again amazingly I'm top though going down.anyone can win.Yes AIM going down the plug'ole and down the drain.I'm trying to claw back huge realised losses but it might take years.I'm surprised if anyone on these boards is unscathed by that meltdown as most seem to have liked AIM-once.A very sad situation.Meanwhile the banksters make hay by shorting gold.

Of course AFE is a well run small company on AIM with frugal directors hardly taking anything out for years and working very hard.However AIM miners as a whole despite what you can read on the FTSE site about being a source of growth and expertise etc. is not a good place these days.Around 2010 all you needed was an announcement of drilling holes and finding x amount of metals to boost the SP.No wonder AIM miners were popular.Hopes for T/O's were often fulfilled and parts could be hived off profitably while the SP's soared.Yes finance was becoming poorer even then.AFE did not in fact get much for divestment of everything except their nickel interests.However a high SP allows "cheap" placings at the cost of far fewer shares.If you place at 1p you need 400m shares to raise £4m while at 10p only 40m shares are involved,therefore the SP drops far less after the deal on average.After drillings plans need brought forward,a PFS then a BFS and it has to lead somewhere towards a deal/JV/T.O. The number of these has dropped considerably as finance from banks has dried up.So far II's support has been enough to float dilutions but in many companies these dilutions/placings are on a downwards spiral.The basic problem is existing in a bear market without a source of regular income.A few AIM miners have a cash pile but that is not as good a regular income as cash burn continues every month. Inevitably large deals must be done with II's even if control is lost by the directors even involving winding up AIM mining companies since it is totally impossible to be a miner otherwise.

I return to my earlier post,a Chinese masterplan for maybe 10/25 years in future to have a v. large iron ore mining maybe else, province in W.Africa Guinea Liberia Cameroon,Congo etc.Be surprised if Nigeria largest African country isn't a part of it..You are only seeing cogs in wheels here.Also time won't matter-those investing in say 2030 might benefit most,present bits only fleabites.First stage might be to purge out western interests.And now Hanglong while the exec. goes to a work camp/prison in W.China.Guinea/BZM another part of it.BZM must be absorbed to there,nice and cheap now.Above all everything must be cheap to take over.

I think I remember you m8.Anyway yes this is lower than the pits now.The next fund raising should be company making or breaking- 1. a placing at 1p might raise £4m but it would also spiral the total shares up to about 1100m as 400m shares would be involved- a 1/3 or so dilution there.The danger is the SP might drop nearer to 1p though at least they'd have demonstrated stability for another year.A few drillings but no BFS from that.Playing for time just. 2. much better -as they said- they have to find new II's to do deals with and the board to accept losing some control.Even loans might be got against future production with a BFS.However for AFE to "be a miner" is impossible as MP always knew,I think he left the board as he didn't agree. Can only speak for myself,I won't be putting further cash into shares in lowdown AIM companies anywhere,I've a few left,but the brakes must be applied.Seeing my cash balances for the tax year has shown I can't go on like this.I'll keep a tight ship for a few years now,prudence my mentor.No choice.The AIM party's over.Of course once this regains upwards momentum then getting in here far more safely will attract a lot of folks.GL.
