That's totally awful reading,quite hostile too.Gives the impression of going further than the news we heard.It is clear MP must have been well paid,though I always thought none took an income.Wrong it seems.And MP was worth a lot more seemingly.Amazing.

It is totally no point now having experts in taking companies to production,AFE itseld won't ever do the production,more desperately they need damage limitation- 1. MP to return as Chairman 2. consolidate the shares 100 to 1,would give a 30p SP,yes same MCap but better looking.Might help a placing too. 3. cuts in staff and any incomes.I believe there was an office in Tanzania.A box number might be better and cheaper.And part time staff.Wages shouldn't be high for local staff anyway. 4. try to sell the royalties in the various gold JV's. 5. might Zanzui be sold ? Yes these sound serious measures but the position is very bad.Every hour of every day they must seek deals !

Of course no-one might want in.You're talking about $650m at prices a year or so ago, plus because that was only the figure to get it up and running initially.There was to be more but deferred hopefully vs. production.Now compare with Tshipi the associate of JMS.AX- in whom RRR hold 2.6% including 1.3% of Tshipi.Have got manganese production about 6 months now.The SP static but no loans and a large cash pile.You're talking about around $1bn. 2. AFE would hardly get any of that in 1. from any buyer as it would cut their slice too much..AFE might get thrown a royalty 1% or 2% if lucky.Also AFE might end up a cash shell with a few £m but without costs of licences,drillings etc. 3. The shareholders might be paid off if it went private but they'd share only a few £m leaving the AFE remains with almost zilch.Sorry but it would be unwise to build hopes here,no money equals no bargaining power.At best I'd guess shareholders might get back a few pence per share... 4. The worst things-of course if the licences expire- no idea when- it all goes back to the TZ Govt. It might be too that any incomer might negotiate with the II's mainly these having more shares. GL.

that is how much of AIM goes on-the weaving of fine words,hopes,dreams.But not reality at all.

-you wonder why nobody is interested in us-but they will be-however only after the 6 months they'll move in for the scraps... What was sorely missed was-MP. ... In 2009-11 he was able to make the SP rise at will, with well worded RNS. I used to say "The AFE SP is news-driven" and it was. MP controlled the AFE news which controlled the SP. He was excellent at PR. and at going to conferences etc.The company kept going on £4m a year about one placing a year and was never below 4p for several years,in fact reached 17p for a time. It was in fact vital to keep up the SP as placings are then "cheaper" in degree of dilution. All done without "being a miner" and by living very frugally the correct way for any AIM company..Once MP left and that was ditched it was an inevitable crash from then on... The puzzle was that MP used to say sometimes that he met potential II's at the conferences,we did get some but never any deals for the whole company.I think MP was not perhaps as skilled in that territory.Otherwise he was excellent,the best I've seen.

therefore it is that the board really wanted to be "independent" while failing to push sufficiently for the $650m deals to reach "production" 1. they couldn't be independent while producing 2. they couldn't produce without losing independence. Thus-"Production" is incompatible with being "independent"..
