Is this Groupe Eurotunnel ? According to Yahoo UK Finance that one is up 30% today,though you'll find the spread is about 34%. Has huge debts but might be doing well now with extra trains going through.

at this level though can't really,a pity.As I said once it is up past 500p all bets are off..

well I sold 2 other shares not going anywhere fast.Yes share discipline is important.I have not been good at that though really only the best investors-not myself-have done well the last few years which has been the worst market for 85 years.You won't realise that till they write the history books.By then we may not be here.Anyway,I want to get more here and will hopefully,though intend to sit on the cash from these shares for a bit.With the ash,Goldman,high petrol,hung parliaments,sell in May,etc. there is quite a lot of negativity around.Yes ASC's rise will not be in a straight line.Anyway we see it though others won't till it attracts a lot more attention when much higher...but no idea when.

none of my business but if you grabbed 527p next week it's only about 5% above your 500p ????

I don't actually have very much profit here so far,which is why I got a bit more last week.Really I would hope for 1000p+ to make it worthwhile here.Of my shares this is one with maybe the longest potential growth.I believe this is a smaller giant of the future.In Shares magazine theres a big bit about how well Ideal Shopping is doing though of coursde they are TV-based.The TV is beginning to merge with the computer-I regularly watch BBC and ITV Player though have never seen Ideal featured there so far.Anyway I belive ASC has the better idea as for the moment at least if I was in Singapore I couldn't access UK TV easily.

I was looking at this with a view to seeing if some can be bought on a lower level.

hasn't been as good as March so far,but I doubt this is anywhere near finished climbing,PB.

if I get money organised before June and if it fell towards 400p again,I'd consider getting more here..

007_imi-I didn't say I'd definitely exit at 500p.Once there though I'd get a careful stop loss in.I had thought of doing that at 400p but it is far too low for decent profits here,and we saw recently how we went below it for a while.I am sure some had sold out then and now wishing they hadn't.So when it hits 500p as I am sure it will,I wouldn't mind so much getting pushed out there.I'd certainly not allow it to climb up between 500p and 700p without any protection to my position..

well maybe,but my plan to stop-loss after June wherever it is then,or any time after it gets to 500p looks to me like a good idea.The peak in mid-2008 of 528.5p was a real spike too,not a wide base at all,so it wasn't a stable position.That's why I need to be Prudent with this one..though it has done very well.

checked and the all-time peak was 528.5p in mid-2008 when it was called Western Canadian Coal I believe.I was one of the poor sods who bought after that so took a biggish loss.I do not intend to repeat that,so after the dip to 400p below I am looking at prices now I might sell.Now considering that coal prices are fixed till June,we are in that scenario now apparently.So I thing getting to 500p or once we reach June will be my cut-oof points,at the moment at least.But we need to research coal prices a bit from now on...

it's just a rather boring income share,that's why I am staying in it lol.

Great,tomo.With only a certain small number of shares you are happy if they go down as you are desperate for more of the same.The essence of investing is to recognise a company which is value whatever the price.I used to regard BP. that way for example.Never any risk,just buy more when down.I would certainly like a good lot more too,though no spare money now-might be in a few weeks.I did get more last week though.I feel sure this will be up near 1000p by year end.The charts agree too at the moment though no real timetable at all exists for myself.

no problem having a day or two resting around 550p after the quick rise from the awkward 500p level.We will be happy later with steady consolidation and growth coming especially later in the year once the new sites go up.
