On the face of it this isn't doing too well.Though any company with thousands of old folks paying good money must be on a winner long-term.The imponderable is the large council element with huge cuts coming up.Though these people must go somewhere.I doubt if they can be pulled out from SCHE though.Some kind of deal will be negotiated.This is a HOLD.Till the summer anyway- after the English council elections.

yes this drop is Ridiculous,the Market these days seems haywire,good companies like ASC getting marked down for no reason.Even the disastrous £ should help with more ASC sites in foreign countries now even if the UK is a busted flush now..

yes if anyone was going out to live in India,their developments seem to offer a fair mix of luxury and security with access to nearby business outlets.

as I said I'm not worried either way,but do you see this being taken private again,and if so under what deal for our shares ? I believe the family wanted to do that about a year ago and the awkward PI who stirred up about that has since departed.

a rather large drop today;still no long term concerns here-it will either motor strongly upwards or the family behind it will take it private almost certainly giving us back our money.I still believe this has the feel of a "rich man's toy".

no hurry here but I got the impression HRCO would be completing a bit of one of their properties by the summer so giving fairly decent profits though a lot more to come later..

not just about HRCO,the report says it all about India's future.It is another China but with far more transparency.Though hopefully being a democracy they won't gey snarled up with planning blockages like it is in the UK..

a very few a high P/E is an indication of good growth eg back in 2000,VOD had that...now coming towards previos peak about 500p so we will see then what ASC can do..

a post on iii is about Yoox an Italian online competitor with 50% rise in sales reported Feb. 8th.Yes obviou8sly competition but still confident here.Remember when all the stock went up in smoke,didn't stop ASC for long...

now seeing ads for that in papers often,obviously trying for similar market to ASC.Though it is no problem,there is enough worldwide for a number of companies,ASC don't need to be the biggest..

has fallen 250 points but has now put back 150 of those by climbing above 2000p.

so about 25% held by PI's here ? That should help stability though obviously the shares are not very liquid...

ENK appear to be adopting a rather high risk but maybe shortened route to the money.Though there has been a lot of debt to pay off which has been done by selling off assets.I know there has been little choice really if ENK are to become succesful miners.Would another method not have been just to sell it all to the highest bidder? And to exit with the money hopefully.

yes ENK are doing the sensible thing in the light of their Chinses by just firing ahead regardless so their deal is there in the background as potential future support.Though time and money has been bought for ENK at the expense of some share dilution.Anyone have an idea how much the dilution has been ? Though I see that was needed and will help expand the company.

I can hardly see ENK throwing away a potential life-saving agreement to set them up for years with the Chinese.They are doing the right thing going on regardless at least on other developments.

How can you say "the Chinese companies have broken their agreements" ? These agreements are still up on the ENK website and with a picture of the signing on several other sites.
