has been recovering quite well,and soon will be at least 3 more foreign sites to increase sales,in any case the UK market is fairly dead for growth and with more competition coming up.

to be held on Feb.16th,tomorrow...they seem to be going ahead more or less level according to the Feb. 9th report though the shares have been falling recently from about 155p to 143p.Increased fees are compensating for lower occupancy.The long term trend in care homes must be positive due to the increased number of baby booming elderly people coming up the next few years.Also council cuts might cause more to use the private sector,though obviously they need to be careful with fees.They might also divest older properties to raise money.In the end quality will tell.

I cannot see this having much probs.Either it will do well on its' own or in event of not doing well will be taken privately by the parent company.In which case you should get a reasonable price back.Even if it were made private after good results you'd get an even better payoff.I can't understand why they floated off this company-maybe some kind of legal tax-spreading scheme ?

Been recently trying a method to look at the SP averages of Directors to see if they might invest more- which would boost the company.I see that two and maybe three HRCO directors are at large losses now.Of course the other two family members will have the control of the board,and these others haven't more than token share amounts anyway.I will make a smallish entry here,maybe more later,but have enough irons in the fire elsewhere for now, especially in real estate.GL/DYOR.

yes this appears a bit of a rich man's toy at the moment,obviously the whole thing could go private if the family pushed it,though shareholders would oppose it,and you'd still almost certainly get back your money.Then terrorism, they will be insured to the hilt and will have reasonable security.Looking at the company videos the schemes appear to be a bit Las Vegasy in style though very opulent too.There are now more better off people in India and these are being attracted to SEZ's special economic zones in growth areas.Yes I am a bit chary as yet overall.I'd personally be prepared to forego a bit of gain even just to allow a bit more building and profits to come forth though can't put off decisions forever...

Wright Quality Ratings Corporate Information give HRCO a DANN which means Fair for stock liquidity,Outstanding for financial strength and Not rated for profitability and for growth. and 2.)Reuters give HRCO a ROI of -1.60;industry compared figures are 2.91 and sector -0.33.Units are in TTM,sorry no idea what TTM means.

a positive for the HRCO project on the edge of Mumbai area,80km from it- is that in central Mumbai the council are amazingly refusing to support water facilities above the 7th floors of new developments for quite a few years.Also there is general water rationing there.There will be an airport near the HRCO estate though it hasn't begun yet.Some locally doubt if it is needed.Usual NIMBY's ? Still overall impressed with this one.Thanks to Riddler especially for his reports.. HRCO have been loss-making but it is looking like a turnaround this year should happen.

in doing research it is important to find negative as well as positive;though I think this is an excellent share;two things1.) terrorism- two of the people from the nearby Thane blast lived in a temple just nesr the HRCO development outside Mumbai.Also the attempted reverse takeover.Of course denials in press that this is reflecting of the reputation of the temple.2.)Apparently HRCO's only income till getting real estate income was some prefs. shares at very good conditions,high income generating,but the parent private company tried last spring to take these back in a reverse takeover,however a powerful PI who holds 10% of HRCO got it stopped.Two parent company family members are in powerful positions on the HRCO Board. 3.) the Phase 1 they are completing now is only 6% of the total at Chennai.....Not trying to put anyone off,just need to look at this with balance while deciding if/if not to buy...sorry.Comments ? They do say they'd like a dividend sometime soon.And I doubt the family whatever they did would wish to torpedo the company.

Some familiar names here lol.Anyway I see they had about £240m combined of sales recently at their two sites.That on a cap. of £116m. only.And of course NAV is about 4x the SP.They obviously have solid backing from the parent private holding company.Which is no.1 in real estate in India.The Yahoo 1-year estimate is 234p....considering this one now.
