this week both AFE and ENK had 10% or so rises and 5% falls but not on the same day...

We found a note on the net yesterday from Minesite,October 21/10/09, saying that AFE would like to hive off all their non-nickel assets (gold,copper,uranium) into some kind of new group or company,or just sell the lot off together.It would be " a little time yet".Obviously once that was done, and AFE were then a pure nickel player they will be more attractive to anyone wanting a JV or sell deal for the large Dutwa strike they have in Tanzania.

well my idea that AFE's charts might be like those of ENK was blown up today lol.Anyway you ash if EW being Director of ENK might tie up with him being Chairman of AFE,taffie.Well they held "talks" about the large Dutwa nickel strike earlier in the year,confirmed by reports chilli3000 gave here.ENK obviously are busy now with Caldag but AFE would like a JV or deal with themselves still doing mining too though.Obviously too ENK's skill with acid heap leach will be useful.What we are excited about is that EW must know all the Chinese that dealt with ENK.It is the Chinese who want the nickel a lot and have the money...that's all we can say without other information but we will be watching this space...

"China casts resource hungry eyes on nickel markets" is another one I noted on AFE.Incidentally,I have a theory that AFE and ENK have very similar charts since 3 months ago(???)

Yes numbers of subscribers were down but income and profite were up.HD is the thing which will help BSY up;most people will want that,it will be a new age as with when color replaced b/w.

I went and listened to the hype here about this,in future I shall pick my own shares...

Riddler thanx for replying.Yes as I said I have had this a lot in the past.It tended to do better in later parts of the cycle (???).I see BSY is doing quite well,so that is better news at least.

It seems both ENK and AFE are making progress on good news these days...

Thanks chilli3000 for your care and trouble in replying. ENK look to be rather busy with deals or JV's, etc with several associates.At the very least partnership or swapping ideas between ENK and AFE would be useful,as if AFE do decide on the acid heap method instead of the tank acid leach-seems about 50/50 now-then ENK have the experience and I know a test run of the former will be done soon ,was it with TMC.

Chilli3000, I see that you are suggesting a possible future ENK/RMLA "consolidation". A few days ago I posted about the fact that several articles appeared on the net about "talks" held earlier this year between ENK and African Eagle AFE. See earlier here for links. Also, EW is a non-exec. director of ENK and now Chairman of AFE. Obviously both companies have much in common-they are involved with future nickel mining and AFE are considering a similar acid heap leaching method in Tanzania for extracting nickel for their potentially very large Dutwa Project. Do you have any reactions or thoughts about these connections ? Thanks for allowing me again on your thread...
