I think Farm Out option i mentioned is the most likely scenario in my opinion.

We might have received an approach from Bigger Industry player and MATD wanted to fast track the process and invited both MRPAM and MMHI to IOM to get approval and get it done.

Presence of Registrar also in same meetings gives it away. Speculation at this stage but would make perfect sense.

Will have to wait and see when that RNS lands.

My own personal view is there is most likely a Farm Out being arranged which required Approvals from MRPAM and MMHI before a certain % of Licence could be transferred.

Presence of Registrar in the room alongside other parties would support above logic.

OR Govt looking to BUY an Equity stake in MATD.

Have to be honest, i did not pay much attention to the Renewable Energy Upside few months ago. But now i have a totally different view, coz profits from Renewables can be massive.

Govt wants all 3 for their Economic expansion:
Oil / Gas / Renewables

So for every £100 you spend, you get £90 back
As Tax Credit

90% Tax credit for first 3 years
50% Tax credit for next 3 years

That is a HUGE incentive to get Renewable Energy off the ground. Profits would be on Top when you sell all the Electricity to the Grid / businesses.

MATD taking lead position on Renewables and very good product mix.

Cabinet is still in Mongolia. Only MRPAM and MMHI officials were at MATD office in IOM.

All paperwork had already been distributed to all ministries involved.

Still very intriguing what were MRPAM and MMHI discussing at the table with the Registrar present?

1) Registration / incorporation of New JV company
2) Transfer of shares to New Buyer
3) signing of and registering interest of New Block

Very interesting and significant developments going on in the background by the looks.

Sellers seem to be out of breadth. Who in their right mind would even think of being out of this one with RNS coming any day missing out on around 100-150% quick upside.

MMs will try to grab stock before switching to Plan B and raise it to attract few sellers ahead of news on multiple fronts.

Their Head of Operations and Renewable Energy was promoted to CEO position in Jan 2023.

Mongolia has huge Upside on Renewables front.

May be after IOM visit and discussion with PetroMatad CEO, MRPAM and MMHI Govt ministers will stop by at SHELL London office?

may be Govt officials are in IOM and MATD office to set up a NEW 50/50 Renewable Energy JV with PetroMatad !!!

I thought PETROVIS set up PetroMatad as their Exploration business originally before listing MATD in London.

In my view, they already got LP sorted. Just waiting for official stamp for NEW BLOCK also and confirmation from Major Drilling for Velociraptor-1 June spud date.

RNS could be here any day for an instant re-rate.
