Massive Velociraptor-1 spud coming up also with 200 MMBO recoverable and 380 MMBO recoverable from raptors combined.

Block V has the 2nd working petroleum system in Mongolia as confirmed by previous Oil shows in Snow Leopard except that Oil seemed to have migrated towards the raptors.

This looks very similar story to what happened in Block XX, when they first spud in 2010 and had oil shows but missed the sweet spot. Back then they did not do follow-up testing. Heron-1 was sitting just next door when they discovered one of the best light Oil ever found in Mongolia which flowed at 800 bopd naturally to surface.

Velociraptor-1 could be a repeat success story same as Heron-1 and Gazelle-1 Oil discoveries and be around 6-7 times bigger.

Lots of untapped Oil to come through and to feed that new Oil refinery.

According to PETEX conference in Nov 2016, there is an estimated 90 Billion barrels of STOIP across Mongolia.

Recoverable rates:
@ 10% rate = 9 billion barrels
@ 25% rate = 22.5 billion barrels

Chinese basins around Mongolia have discovered many "Multi-billion" barrel producing Oil fields.

Mongolia been largely untapped. Lot of Oil still to be discovered which exists but NOT been explored aggressively in past 20 years. With all Central Govt mandates and initiatives, we about to swith gears

Last 2 updates came much quicker.

I would expect future updates to get even quicker as we gear up for action on Multiple fronts with some imminent news.

Back in January i think Phil Malone was being diplomatic at the time without giving away too much detail.

We now know that Phil has been lot more involved in the background with various Govt Ministers meetings since his Jan interview.

Just waiting for Cabinet signature now after all Ministry endorsements and recommendations already in place.
