In a nutsell it seems the protesters want some sort of frwmework in place to mitigate any environmental impact on local communities etc.
Especially given PetroChina track record who in the past did not take environment impact seriously but beginning to get their act together. They obviously do not want MATD to follow same approach like Petrochina in the past. MATD on the other hand been much more professional in tackling any environmental impact assessment.

In addition MATD also presented their full environment impact study for Block V also awaiting approval on that also hopefully pretty soon. That then clears drilling of Velociraptor soon as we get a quote from DQE for Block V also.

All in all these protests are NOT a show stopper.

This is more to force Oil explorers / producers to take ownership of their actions and have some mitigation plans in place if there was any potential risk to environment and communities they operate in or will soon be operating in.

I think we are good to go despite all the "Hullabaloo"...over last few days.

Central Govt pushing things forward. Local Govts just responding and executing Central Govt plan.
They want to both monetise existing Heron Oil discovery and push for further expansion of the wider Heron Oil field.

Been waiting for this moment for past few years. We now on the cusp of major transformation for both Govt and PetroMatad which was spun off by Petrovis as their Oil exploration arm.

I think its finding a new base around 7p mark before next leg up.

Next bit of news should provide further momentum.

We pushed to 9.15p after Exploitation licence was granted last year. We moving to next level hopefully very soon. May could be a huge month here in terms of re-rate if DQE update comes in next week. 15p - 20p would come fast i tell ya.

Personally i think we should get it all in one Operational update. Lot of moving parts with talks on different fronts. Yes we are still early Q2. News could literally drop any day. No issues. Focus on the big prize. Big move upwards ahead, bit overdue must say.

Latest positive read meets FDA end points that they been seeking and good safety record displayed also. Much higher chance now of FDA approval than in the past years.

Potential 15-17% royalties income on $1b annual sales would be $150-170m.

Over 10 years thats over $1.5b in royalties income just from Lupuzor.

Additionally waiting for CIDP commercial partners who seem interested. Lot to look forward to.

Lupuzor if all approved by FDA would be targeting $5b annual sales market and will be competing with Glaxo and AstraZeneca.

Potential Royalties upto 17% on Annual sales.
You can work out the figures. Risk vs Rewards highly attractive i would say from such a low entry price.

Heron asset valuation @ $60/bbl is circa $250m.

At $100/bbl you get 67% uplift. I calculate that to be around 36p a share.

Excludes Velociraptor and 2 other Block V prospects with another potential 600 MMBO recoverable.

If each of 3 Block V prospects (200 MMBO each) also come through, then we could get valuation at or above £1.00 given only 898.5m shares in total

PetroMatad and DQE working on arranging the mechanism for sharing oil revenues from Heron production as per last RNS.

i.e. how much will DQE be looking for in Oil as a cash equivalent for drill costs etc. I dont know the exact cash/oil split. But thought that was pretty obvious where we are at.

Additionally MATD waiting for quote from DQE for drilling Velociraptor.

Why do we need to build a nodding donkey when you can hire/rent / purchase one. DQE should have their own collection of nodding donkeys.

Yes pretty much. Nodding donkey gets to work round the clock.

If DQE take over operations at Heron-1 and additional appraisal wells, then they would fast track "Multiple wells" at Heron. Means more nodding donkeys get to work to get lot more oil out from Heron and pretty fast.

We could get to 6000-8000 bopd much quicker if DQE come in with all their equipment.

Or DQE might decide to pay upfront few hunderd million $$$ for 50% stake in Block XX and takeover operations at Heron.

Bit of speculation but oil should be coming out pretty soon. Current price is a steal whichever way you look at it.
