I got back in CLON after this Sasanof Deal which looks highly attractive with Multi-bagger upside without a doubt. Far too many discoveries in the surrounding area. Makes a very strong investment case.

Also in BOIL. That whole area seems to be getting lot of attention from all the Govt with a vested interest in Major discoveries already recorded.

Upside case:
17.8 TCF is approx 3.2 Billion boe.

Yes 25-35 TCF between Chuditch, Sunrise and Kelp fields is obsene. With that sort of resource potential at their doorstep Timor-Leste Govt need a major / majors to come in and tap into the monster resource.

Timor-Leste Govt getting active now and about time too.

They realising it now that they cannot sit on it forever. Need to engage with MAJORS to kick start the massive fields at their doorstep. Always need to have some sort of compromise in talks to get a move on.

In my personal view SHELL will be back given their own green environment mandate is aiming for 50/ 50 split between oil and gas assets.

Bought some CLON today.

Must say looks very good value sub 1p given the huge upside from sasanof. That whole acreage is highly prospective with producing wells all around the area.

Forget CLON....get tuck in here.

Could see substantial moves here in quick order with lot of developments progressing behind the scene.

Timor-Leste looking at Floating LNG option also.

This will be MASSIVE positive for Greater Sunrise and Chuditch as a quicker route to monetization for Timor-Leste Govt in bringing them online.

Kuala Lumpur, 25 March 2021 – PETRONAS has become the first global energy company to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) from two floating facilities following the first cargo delivery by PETRONAS Floating LNG DUA (PFLNG DUA) on 24 March 2021. The cargo was loaded onto the Seri Camar LNG Carrier operated by MISC Bhd for shipment to our LNG buyer in Thailand.

PFLNG DUA has a production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of LNG per year and operating at the water depth of 1,300 metres. The floater facility is currently located at Block H Rotan gas field located 140 kilometres offshore Sabah. This milestone confirms the viability of PETRONAS’ push in unlocking stranded and deep-water gas fields with floating LNG (FLNG) solutions that are more sustainable and economical compared with conventional solutions. 

There seems to be some sort of urgency this time around to bring Chudith online . Few years ago no one expected Gas prices to spike higher the way they did this year. We are entering a higher Gas prices landscape and for lot longer.

Perfect timing to bring Chuditch huge gas field online. Timor-Leste could set up a massive Sovereign Wealth Fund like Norway which is what they been studying for a while.

With older gas fields depleting, both Greater Sunrise and Chuditch gas fields should be instrumental going forward to meet ever growing demand. There has been very little progress made in finding Huge discoveries.

With Gas prices lot higher now and forecasted to stay higher, i would have thought those price estimates would be DOUBLE at a minimum.

Thanks for sharing. I like Allenby Capital price forecasts albiet a bit conservative using only $0.5/bbl and still generating 0.27/ share.

0.945 /share success case initial valuation. Lets call it 1p which could be revised upwards as more wells are added to Chudith development over the period.

Interesting reference given Exxon Mobil massive discovery.
