I think that is a fair summation of where we are at.

That initial balloon of hope and expectation has slowly but surely deflated down to a rather more flacid version of its former self.

It's looking like it could do with perking up a bit , a shot of Viagra in the form of some progress on the white label front might liven things up a bit!🤞

I am hoping that the advent of digital , online , Blockchain technology will make inventory monetisation a feasible - workable - practical proposition whereas previously that has not been the case.

Still more hopeful than confident but Fakit!

Issues highlighted by the weekends exchanges maybe that , quite apart from the highly convoluted nature of SYME's model , possibly something of an Achilles heel in itself , the attraction to clients maybe obvious but the allure to lenders(ooops , sorry , funders)maybe somewhat less so.

We can only hope that those tasked with selling the idea can do so with somewhat more guile and wit than is demonstrated by a good many of the contributors to on here.

I think it is fair to say that hitherto and in so far as funders coming forward goes it is not unreasonable to suggest that there is not much danger of anyone getting trampled in the stampede 🐂🐂🐂

SYME need to be able to offer funders a competitive edge to get them onboard , there has to be something there to pique thier interest. These first prototype IM's as I like to call them will be instrumental in establishing whether or not this is a runner as potential funders now have something tangible to explore.

Time will tell.

I can't see how rising interest rates would make SYME's proposal any LESS attractive but I would have thought that any potential funders would want to maximise the return on their money within the constrictions of remaining competitive and that it would be the funder(????)and not the arranger(SYME)that would have the last word on rates. I would have thought that as interest rates rise then any potential funders rates will rise too.Probably won't make much difference in the big scheme of things as to whether or not or to what extent SYME will progress.

...but no doubt there are smarter folk than me out there who may say different 🤷

One would hope that the prototype IM's are being held up to the light and closely scrutinized by potential funders and that they will like what they see and opt to come on board , same goes for conventional funders and or white label options.

None of us can know when or even if this will happen , next week , next month , next year , or maybe not at all , who knows?

As far as sp is concerned , I think we will do well if we can just tread water at or around this level until the much hoped for good news arrives and that news really needs to relate to volume.

If this is ever going to be a big winner for investors that can surely only be on the back of some hefty volumes.

Inevitably the longer that news takes to surface the more likely the SP is to wind back down.

So let's hope that Bert, AZ , Amy , Nicola and Co are all hard at work stirring that pot! 👩‍🍳

In terms of the mountain we have to climb we are still setting up base camp.

Thing is I think we are still in the no mans land between potential and delivery and no one really knows what is going on behind closed doors or what the final outcome will be.

One thing for sure is that the only thing that will really get SYME's motor running is revenue...

My own opinion , for what it's worth , is that we will do well to tread water at or about this price until further substantive news arrives - and the longer that takes the more likely the SP is to rewind.

I think it's a case of "damned if you do , damned if you don't " , they were criticised for not buying in and now they are getting shot at for not buying enough 🤷

In any case , in the grand scheme of things it is of little or no consequence.

Great to see our three prototype IM's getting off the ground.

Some have hailed these IM's as proof of concept and who am I to argue...but to my simple little brain the real proof of concept will be achieved when multiple IM's are flying off the shelves like hot cakes and we're raking in the cash!

I have no doubt that all the boys and girls at SYME are busting their balls to make this happen.
