Yes , potential investors would want to monitor IM's that are up and running , that stands to reason.

I am still inclined to think that the platform is some way off being the finished article because funders aren't kicking the doors down , in fact they are not even forming an orderly cue but that is hard to know as we are not being informed.

We need the capacity to transact very large volumes in a way that is both profitable and secure not only for clients , of which we have many but also for funders of which we have not so many , takes two to tango. I would like to think the platform is being upgraded to cope with these requirements.

The bottom line is we need to onboard funders of some heft in the not too distant future or as we say round 'ere...

If the platform is up and running and funders can see it in action , why are they not stepping in after all this time?

If there is any kind of platform at all it is very much a work in progress and not fit for purpose as we speak.

The recent electronic documentation legislation may well represent another duck waddling into position , line astern.

Vechain have said they would commit further funds , I forget the precise amount , but that has not been forthcoming as yet.

It is my assumption that this money will be made available only when the platform is ready to run and that maybe sooner or later or maybe even never , who knows.

Funders will , quite rightly , want to see a fully functioning platform , the real deal , before they shell out ; an open ended platform where inventories can be monetised in an efficient and SECURE manner , that's quite a big ask, it's not like they're setting up a hot dog stand is it 🤷

Of course SYME may well be stirring other pots but that remains to be seen and It is not as if we can expect too much if anything from the interims either.

I really do think it may well be a case of Vechain or bust.

No , I haven't forgotten WL but for that we will stil require SYME to provide a viable platform which they have not yet done.

Just thinking out loud here ;

we have clients , lots of clients , no problem there but ,

and it's a big but (as the bishop said to the actress) no funders.

We have arranged three IM's , titchy tiddly ones , just prototypes

, but IM's nonetheless so why not do more titchy tiddly ones , because there is no future in a few titchy tiddly ones , we need volume and lots of it.

That's where Vechain come in , we need an easily accessible, user friendly , paperless , SAFE & SECURE , monetisation platform which as far as I'm aware , at this moment in time does NOT exist.

I think it is clear that SYME cannot do this on their own so I am hoping Vechain can finally get us up and running because if they can't I am not sure what other options are open to us 🤷

I don't know the origin but it refers to the 70 years we might all reasonably expect to get barring any disasters, although in these days of improved health care we could possibly up it a bit...

Whether or not any of us are willing to wait 10 years is probably a moot point and the way things are looking now there is a good chance that those of us who continue to hold will know our fate a good deal sooner. In ten years time I would have had my three score and ten and if we ever do make any money out of SYME I would like the chance to spend it while I am still alive.

We have a product that seems to work in principal and that clients are interested in but funders just don't want to know.

The hope is that the ongoing collaboration with Vechain will provide a platform that is user friendly and secure enough to entice those land lubbing money men into the water.

In the meantime I continue to mooch around in this octopuses garden , covered in barnacles and sporting a very , VERY long snorkel!

i would be lying if i said the thought of baling out hadn't crossed my mind lately but i have held on for a couple of reasons...

i would like to see how the vechain thing plays out but i am acutely aware that if that turns out to be another cul-de-sac then that could well put the tin hat on it once and for all as by then the share price will be closer to the floor than a snails ****!

my outlook might be somewhat brighter if i thought the "team" were getting any joy from other avenues but are they?

who knows?

so there is that and the other reason is simply the law of sod!

I don't pretend to understand how these things work but it must be obvious that with so many buys at just a handful of shares there is manipulation of some sort going on and that some clever chappies are going to make a quick buck...

...to anyone making money on RTOP but why are there so few if any really big buys and lots and lots of very small buys , very many of which are literally one or two shares and a great many more at less than ten shares.

I think much hinges on the Vechain collaboration.

Would be nice to think SYME are stirring other pots too but we can hardly expect a running commentary.

As ever I am more hopeful than confident but I am hanging in there.

Good question.

I think it is fair to say that Vechain do not need SYME.

Vechain are providing the tools for SYME to be able to deliver their service , to what degree and indeed , if at all , SYME can take advantage of those tools remains to be seen.

SYME may of course be vulnerable to other players providing similar services , they say as much in their own annual report.

I think any reasonable person could be forgiven for thinking that the longer it takes the less likely it is to happen but we live , and wait , in hope.
