While it will be interesting to see how RTOPs journey overlaps with SYMEs I won't be buying any tickets for the ride just yet.

If one uses SYMEs track record as a guide it would be hard to be brimming with confidence and would require a leap of faith that even Evel Kinievel might have thought twice about.

Still , they do say fortune favours the brave.

What is clear from the conversation thus far is that nobody knows how or if or when RTOPs floatation will benefit SYME or , the much put upon , shareholders.

With AZ and SYME and , one might presume , with RTOP nothing is straightforward , it's all snakes and ladders , smoke and mirrors , a never ending drum roll with the rabbit , arms folded and flatly refusing to come out of the hat!

In so far as his own coffers are concerned AZ seems to have the Midas touch but as for the rest of us , it's more like the Uri Geller touch.

Never the less , I continue to hold and hope for good things to come.

I think a lot of us are waiting to see how the Vechain initiative pans out and , more to the point , what mileage SYME can get out of it.

One would like to think that SYME have more than one poker in the fire so to speak but until we are told then your guess is as good as mine.

I don't know much about British Bulls but I get the impression their advice is aimed at short term trading rather than long term investing.

I have no problem with uninvested posters expressing an opinion , even if it may be motivated by an ulterior motive , so what , there are a lot worse crimes than that going on in this world and I like to hear all points of view , the good , the bad and the ugly.

Hardly a positive poster but like to think I keep an open mind , just a couple of thoughts for what they're worth.

While the frustration around the lack of news is entirely understandable I am hoping that work is progressing behind the scenes.

IF SYME are to come up with a fully functional , user friendly and SECURE inventory monetization platform - then that is going to be a good deal more complicated and time consuming than setting up a hot dog stand. Maybe I am clutching at straws but I am hoping that is what is going on now in tandem with the Vechain initiative and if indeed that is the case we may still come up smelling of roses. I am realistic enough to know that this may all just turn out to be worth about as much as the proverbial handful of beans but as the saying goes "if you ain't in it you can't win it".

My gut feeling is that if the Vechain collaboration doesn't bare fruit then we may well be running out of road ,

if not that then what? 🤷

Interesting though , that the sp seems to have remained quite stable for sometime now considering lack of news.

Right, I'm off to watch the footy!

One would have to think it IS a competitor to what SYME are offering , not the same thing but a similar solution to the same problem that takes advantage of the huge leaps forward in digital technology.

All the more reason for SYME to get a wiggle on 🦆

Yes , if you want to look at the world in a simplistic way then there is only truth or lies and nothing in between although it must be clear to anyone with even the most modest sprinkling of intelligence that that is very obviously not the case.

btw , I was not attempting to defend AZ and or Albert neither of whom I would trust any further than I could throw , I was simply trying to make the point , and apparently not making a very good job of it , that if you invest in high risk start ups you shouldn't expect too much and you shouldn't be a moaning Minnie if and when they go udders up!

Lack of news is frustrating and it is probably not unreasonable to think that IF there WAS any good news it would be shared but that said - I do not expect a running commentary.

If one invests in a start up company with a novel but unproven idea then one does so in the HOPE rather than the EXPECTATION of making money unless one is somewhat naive.

...and as for anything that AZ or Albert say or have said in relation to where we are at or where we are headed I would liken that to the sort of things that politicians say when they are trying to get elected , I don't say they are lying and I am sure their intentions are good but they may have their own version of the truth which will not necessarily align with reality.

My position in relation to SYMES prospects remain the same as they have always been...

More hopeful than confident 🤞

It is wholly obvious that the inordinate length of time it is taking to deliver means that there is clearly a problem.

The question is - is that problem(or problems)terminal or teething?

The ambition SYME have to create a platform that is able to monitor inventory in transit and or warehoused and at the same time , interwoven into that system is the ability to keep tabs on ongoing transactions and to do this in a way that is both user friendly and secure is difficult and highly convoluted but, with a bit of luck , the boys and girls at SYME towers are working very hard and good news will be along shortly 🙂
