Very encouraging to see SYME reaching out to prospective clients via their website.

I have always thought the website a bit drab but just having that point of contact is so important , they are saying...

I would have thought that for SYME to reveal progress they would have to actually have MADE some progress...

...and if they have made some progress then they will be obliged reveal as much in an RNS.

The idea that they would be able to stage manage the release of "several updates" over the next 13 days seems a bit fanciful.

Yes , on the face of it you would have to say it is a blow to the management team, otherwise why would they make such a statement?

Having said that I don't think any of us really know the whys and wherefores as to the circumstances surrounding their departure.

Whilst on the subject of the separation of SYME/tradeflow be it amicable , tactical or otherwise and in the interest of context and or perspective -consider this from the annual report.

Key Risks:

Talent and diversity risk ;

To whom might they be referring?

Thing is , it looks easy with the benefit of hindsight but to make any money you need to see the fluctuations BEFORE they happen!

You say that...

I have read all the RNSs and watched the presentation and I am not getting the impression that it is imminent.

I have no doubt they are working on it and I would very much hope that both WL and Vechain p2 is WILL happen but I can't really see why you think it is imminent , which I take to mean any day now , in fact if anything the impression I get is that it is anything but imminent.

There has already been a very long delay in Vechain p2 , why is that? A problem? Some gremlins need evicting?

And as for the presentation , I got not the slightest hint that WL is about to be unveiled , in fact I got the impression it was still very much a work in progress.

As for "detractors" well clearly some of them have an agenda and quite what that is all about I know little and care less , the fact is if the company were a little more transparent in their dealings and had delivered more in terms of results the detractors would have a whole lot less to crow about.

Not having a dig at you Savvy, it's just my view.

If there is an announcement on WL any day next week I will happily eat my hat!

As presentations go it wasn't out of the top drawer to say the least but perhaps a timely reality check for some.

No need to worry about de-rampers as the company spelled out the "principle risks and uncertainties" in their recent annual report and that was straight from the Horses mouth for anyone who cares to read it.

I continue to hold and hope for good things to come but I am under no illusions as to just how big an ask this is.

Just dipping in and out of some of the comments on here throughout the day i was half expecting to see a total s**t show but in fact it really wasn't too bad.

I think a lot of the frustration is down to the fact that some people still have an over inflated idea of where SYME is actually at and conflate , potential with reality.

I would see the two IMs already confirmed very much as prototypes , that view may well be born out by the inordinate length of time for the remainder of the Vechain 10 million dollars to be invested.

AZ talked about the need to "improve inventory analytical capabilities" and of "logistics" and "a legal and accounting framework" this is a very complex and multi faceted proposition and i think we are a very long way from being out of the woods and i see no reason to think that WM is imminent.

I dare say there is a hell of a lot of fine tuning still to be done so ...

In other words , pretty much exactly where i thought we were and on that basis...

I am happy to hold and continue to hope for good things to come.

I wasn't expecting an RNS to coincide with today's investor meet event , it would actually be quite difficult to have arranged it that way , although there is still time.

I think it will probably be exactly what it says on the tin , a question and answer session , albeit with predetermined questions.

It's all good though and I would like to see SYME putting there best foot forward so to speak.

I can't watch it live and hope to catch up later.

In the meantime I will have a quick breeze through the comments on here to get a flavor of what's going on.

That way I am sure to get a...

in depth and intelligent appraisal of how it all went.

It would seem that the recent inaugural traditionally funded IM has sparked a wave of expectation and we have all been very happy to ride that wave , after all , better to be 25% down then 80% down(in my case).

The thing about expectation is , the thing that one is expecting actually has to arrive at some point because if it doesn't, the wave will lose its momentum , stop , select reverse and go right back where it came from , waves are inclined to do that...

And In any case , even if SYME turns out to be the success we are all hoping it will be it is unlikely to go up in a straight line , there will be peaks and troughs.

Just trying to keep it real here folks , I have detected a bit of chicken counting and back slapping of late but as far as the SYME edifice goes we aren't at the chimney pots , we are still at the damp proof course.

I continue to hold and hope for good things to come.

You can exercise these warrants any time up to December 2025 if I remember correctly. Slightly different rules apply to those held in an ISA to those held in a SIPP but In any case your best bet is just to ring your broker and they will advise you.

I hold some warrants but it's such a piddling amount I haven't bothered to do anything about them just yet , I expect I will get round to it sometime though , especially if the SP continues on this upward trend 🤞

I am no expert but i would have thought that SYME's situation is so unique that charts would be about as much use as an ashtray on a Harley Davidson!

The current upward trend is based on some good news that we have already had and on some more good news that we are expecting to get.

I am not counting any chickens...

but i am sure as hell not selling any shares either!
