I think it is nigh on impossible to predict anything either short or long term re SYME but we could break it down into three categories.

A) Total Wipeout , no funders turn up ,we lose all our dough.

B) Partial success , business proceeds but at a much slower pace and smaller volumes than we would like.

C) To the moon , some big money decides this is a viable project and the Kraken finally awakes , we all get rich.

...other categories may be available.

I'm hoping for option C but I think option B is looking more likely at the minute and only a fool would dismiss option A as a real possibility.

Which option do you think most likely Juno?

If it is a trigger at all i think we can safely say it is not a hair trigger!

Of course we need to see the WL deal wrapped up as soon as possible but it is for a relatively small amount and would be difficult to predict how much of an impact it would have on sp , same logic applies to the Vechain collaboration.

I think in order to get the SP really motoring we would need to see the 400 plus million pound pipeline being worked through at a rate of knots. If either the current WL deal(subject to contract) or the Vechain collaboration, or even better still BOTH , prove to be enough of a catalyst to make that happen then I think there will be a lot of happy punters on this board.

Lots of people growing inpatient with the apparent lack of progress , understandably, but I fear our patience will be tested a good deal more before we find out if this thing will ever really get going or not.

The 37,500,000 "Buy" was an uncrossing trade.

Now if I'm honest I would struggle to explain exactly what an uncrossing trade is but it is not a conventional buy.

Anyone more clued up than me please feel free to explain what a UT trade is in words of not too many syllables or possibly even a piece of paper and a couple of crayons.

My take on Divvyups observations and the latest interim update is that when AZ says "The group is now in advanced stages of formalising a white label agreement with a leading Italian banking group(subject to contract)"

...is that they are willing to stump up once they are satisfied that the platform will actually do what it says on the tin(a not unreasonable position to take)

... or , to put it another way...

We are now waiting for AZ and the team to get all their ducks in a row...

and their cucumbers in a row ...

and er , well , their are some gherkins too that need putting in some sort of order apparently.

I was just about to answer a question posed by Peak when it vanished!

Anyway , no matter.

I would class myself as hopeful but not confident , that has always been and still is where I'm at.

I think the question Peak asked was if those of us who are 'less confident" would like to forecast what might happen in the future.

I think on balance I would say , yes , there will be more IM's but whether they will be in sufficient volume to make SYME into a success story I think is impossible to know. I don't think even AZ can know the answer as it is clearly a work in progress and I think we can safely say not yet the finished article.

I think there are number of boxes that need to be ticked , particularly to the satisfaction of potential funders and particularly around the subject of viability , profitability and , maybe most importantly , security.

If and when those boxes get ticked then funders will presumably stump up the required cash , and as they haven't yet done so I think it is reasonable to presume there are some wrinkles that need ironing out.

My humble opinion for what it's worth 🤷

That will happen when funders deem SYMEs platform a suitable vehicle on which to transact business which as yet has not happened.

On the plus side , there ARE reasons to believe that the dawn will finally break on that happy day when someone with some serious dough actually puts their hand in their pocket and says "ok , I'm in" but until then ...

none of us know and this could be anything from a total lemon to a crock of gold!

I very much hope it will be the latter!
