@London - I am a visitor to London (not by choice btw) and I am dismayed by so called intelligent people going on about their days as if the disease does not exist. Yes, in Asia we had SARS to deal with and the experience of that has helped the governments react quickly in terms of lock downs and the nearly all of the people behave responsibly. The West needs to take note. As soon as the borders are back open in Asia I am gone from here where for me (as a vulnerable person age, health etc) there is less chance of catching Covid-19. Wear a mask, keep your distance, wash your hands is not exactly rocket science is it?

Trek - last week we all had to watch the SP fall from close to 200p and was threatening to hit 100. So let everyone have a bit of fun this weekend. Monday though is another day. :)

News is imminent imo. If you where an II, you would not invest in Avacta without assurance the Cytiva/BAMS tests work. Cytiva are likely asking Alistair how quickly he can supply the Affimers as their source material. Hence the expansion of the lab for £10m.

@Global - I was replying to the poster giving my reasons for the drop, part of which is the bilks of AIM. How did you know most people topped up? If you read the posts from earlier this week people were topping up at 160p. The lowest I could get in at after the placing was 130p. So would be interesting to hear how you justify most people topped up. Most people invested on this board probably lost out.

Disagree - likely insider dealing caused the fall because they knew of the placing. Any news concerning Cytiva/BAMS was likely withheld because of the placing. If there was no placing I am sure positive news would have been out by now.

It does not surprise me. Too many people flouting the rules here.

Like EDR they desperately need Wressle to come into production which is likely to be in the autumn of this year based on the schedule.
Hugh was full of it with his massive interest in the data room and we only really had one major which fell through. The Irish government falling for everything Greta says does not help matters either. I guess that is why they are spending money in Morocco. If they can achieve $15/bbl revenue from Wressle net of costs to produce and transfer then in one year EOG will have a decent cash pile.

@muir- I don't think we will hit 3 quid this month unless we get some good positive solid news. An update concerning Cytiva is key in my opinion.

@Welsh - no probs - when we get post spud and we know what the current POO is around then we can both put some numbers together.

@Welsh - I am all for someone putting an estimate together but some reality needs to be factored in here. Let's assume there is a commercial oil strike in 6-7 months time. Let's also assume the Oil is good quality i.e. around 35-45 API and is sweet with normal GOR and low or no water cut. Let's also say they use an FPSO with 50,000 bbl/d STO production. Work out annual revenues and profit from that and you will get something near a conservative SP. 1 billion barrels would take over 50 years to produce at 50kbbl/d production.

@RichKen - I wish your wife a speedy recovery. Your mind as I am sure it is should be focused on her alone.
If you are a mate of Miles (Ia m not btw) ask him in his next update to detail the risks to Avacta's Covid-19 venture like any good analyst would.
