Good to see Newcrest firming up the territory around Havieron, they know the region is hot and the Paterson is likely to continue to deliver. The long time frame in the Antipa agreement makes me think they are keeping their options open: bring Hav online and into production over the next couple of years with an established resource while simultaneously carrying out relatively relaxed exploration in other tenements to continue to add to reserves for Telfer in the long term. I'm sure they will be doing this on the notion that after the many years that Telfer has been receiving ore from Hav, they won't be in the stressed position they had initially found themselves in with a near exhausted resource and the prospect of winding down Telfer operations, once Hav itself eventually finds itself running low (however far into the future that may be!)

All the metallurgical and environmental tests for declines had begun by the time of their last quarterly, 31 January, so we are on the way guys and gals to those declines and further expansion!

Sandeep refers to High Grade mineralisation in the drills put in at Red Chris but few of the results seems to show above 2gt. Interesting compared to Hav

In the Starvest RNS was this line "Newcrest have established a large camp on site to support the multiple drill rigs currently in operation, with an intention to expand this in the near future" - assume he's talking about both the camp and therefore number of rigs? - would be good to see if Sandeep elaborates on the extra 25 million going Havieron's way...

If Newcrest announce Stage 3 this evening, then they have finished Stage 2 and have gained the right to 40% of Havieron - this will shore up support of Institutions further

I'm still of the opinion that most of us here are lucky to have found this - we are still among the very early entrants to this story as GGP is still under the radar for a huge chunk of the market. Ideal situation is we suddenly become visible once Stage 3 is over and Newcrest have some serious skin in the game and our resource is somewhat defined. Hoping for a big rush into here on the back of next results and Newcrest making clear its intentions for the market and demonstrating the economic upside for it and investors. Maybe then we will see some of the ambitious, but possible, prices reached.
