Shoot me down if there is a better reason, but my take on the release on the 13th rather than previously is potentially very clever. Hear me out, but the media are always looking for a good news story right around Christmas to add a bit of cheer and positivity into the holiday's build up. Getting air time and coverage is always about what is topical and what sort of story the media are looking to inject into their flow. My feeling is that the data and press releases are potentially being prepared for release on the 13th etc.. for the data to have maximum impact. It's only a theory, but it could be a reason for the delay between the data finalisation and the release to the wider audience? It adds a bit of a jingly feeling to the shareholders in my opinion only.
Long suffering holder here.
Toffers (or whoever you are) - I am a moderate and more quiet user of these boards and have found them useful/interesting over the years. Your posting however, is just off the charts strange. Today, for example, you have posted 19 times in 4 hours (between 8a.m.-12p.m.) . This works out at one post every 12 minutes over a four hour period. Even if you have opinions (which do seem to be repeated) or things to bring, this is just over the top. I don't want to filter people, as I believe that everyone should have a voice, but come on please. Let others discuss stuff rather than total monopolisation. I am appealing to your better self. Please take some time out and post when there is actually something to discuss.
Just for reference, Tim987 did not "tell" anyone to do anything. If you read the message it says "why don't you..." This is suggestive, not instructive. Makes both of your aggressive responses (Party Poop and Treading in whatever) look a bit silly when you read them back.
Hey Tygra,
I do think that your analysis of the situation is probably nearer the truth than some want to believe (and before you all go crazy, I am still invested here having not sold). What I would say is that is there was an offer of around $2billion (circa £1.6b), this would put the value of these shares at somewhere in the region of 50p each, let's even say 40p with the costs paid first). With the current uncertainty and the "pariah state" element, surely many would be satisfied with this offer (I note the satisfied rather than delighted or indeed "jubilant"). That would be above all but a very unfortunate few, as the previous high was only a couple of pence higher than that...
Hi Del,
Got to agree. Not a jot of evidence in that deramp.
Also got to pick out the last sentence "All just my opinion, of course." Utterly boring that the "legal eagle is back". So narcissistic, that they cannot resist letting the cat out of the bag as to who they are. Hopefully admin will clear out....again.
Thing is OOR, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Until the BOD release tangible news, these clowns will continue to fire conjecture and bile. Given that the share is currently scraping the barrel in terms of volume traded, it matters not really. As everyone is keen to mention, what is said here can never change the SP. When news does hit, these idiots will get washed away with the postings and so it will naturally become more positive.
Therefore, I feel a bit like Del that it has become so tiresome trying to argue with these cauliflowers and their made up stories, that it is better to let them shout at each other in their echo chamber safe in the knowledge that soon they will melt away when positive news hits. Have a great day.
I was on the virtual (as I live a long way away and there is a train strike) from 8.30a.m. and left 4 questions for the BOD to answer. Apparently there were no questions remotely. Absolute cobblers. Technical disaster or...
That was our chance to at least express our concerns as to why we haven't heard anything from the company even though our SP has capitulated 75% over the previous year. Everyone just smiled and nodded (even surprising the BOD) and then kicked out all of the virtual attendees. Now everyone happy clapping that the original buyer is still in. Come on....
I had a load of questions that I submitted virtually. That was an absolute shambles and now it's closed.
I am/was a staunch supporter of this business, but that really was a poor effort. I can't believe all those souls who turned up, didn't at least ask a few of the questions that everyone is considering.
It was only a few days ago that you announced that you had "sold the last of your shares and good luck to all". Now you are back spouting off that the share is tat and for everyone to beware. Be pleased you are out and close the door behind you.
Much as it is likely to be sore and uncomfortable, at lest you can take solace that you are indeed now turning into a pirate.
Hope it improves day by day, or Tilly will have you up in the rigging.
Terrific to have you back Kira - especially with you absolutely nailing my relationship with Blackrock. Or indeed BlackRock with a capital R, but no space. Really allows me to believe all of your other claims. Enjoy resting on your case.
Do you know what Ian, so have I mate. I was in the States when Putin rolled his tanks over the border and at 3a.m. I made some bad decisions. Fortunately, it worked out okay, as I only ended up down around 4% of my shareholding. No point beating yourself up...it was an extraordinary situation which looked pretty grim at the time. At least you have the front to admit mistakes and try and repair, rather than some legal eagles here, who simply then bad mouth the company to make themselves feel better. Plus 250,000 is still a good chunk of shares and at 50p plus (and I really think extra plus too) you'll be laughing. Just hope it comes soon.
Do you know what Dealer, I think that may have happened. So, the BOD now have to look at jam today versus tomorrow. What we do still know (even though some were trying to falsely accuse DLA earlier) is that we still have our advisers on board and they will be assisting the best outcome for all.
Layla1,
It has been building over the last few days and into a crescendo today. I suspect it will continue tomorrow. It happened all way through the original suspension and in waves since. If it gets under my skin, I just read back RNS's for truth. It will out eventually and these folk will hopefully feel some pain and crawl off to another share to try and disrupt. Genuine people invest in shares to try and better their lives and this negative cobblers is just completely unnecessary. As my late Grandad used to say, "If you can't say anything nice, just don't say anything".
