So, the BOD and EUA gang have had today to straighten their heads and get back into the zone.
It's now time that they communicate with their investors and at least update us (ideally with DFS and/or FSP results). Even if no result yet, a reassuring RNS about progression would be (IMO) due now. I was patient through the still slightly unexplained suspension and NOMAD-gate (which at least they communicated they were in control of). There has been nothing this time (other than slightly veiled messages to let us know they are on "strategy" or more irritatingly pseudo speeding tickets) and quite frankly, I am getting despondent. Patience, I understand, is a virtue, but so is positivity and right now, the bucket is dry.
Profit/time is the result of successful investing and right now the denominator is getting large...The numerator better be a whopper.
Where are you EUA?
Jam,
That is quite brilliant. I watched the same game show and was shouting at the tele for him to take the £3050!
He had balls of steel to go for the big win and the counters fell perfectly for him. Didn’t even need the third!
The fact that it was at £3050 and we were at 30.5p is a spooky coincidence. If we could walk away with £1 (the equivalent of the £10,000 comparatively) would be ideal. Two lucky coin drops away...

Morning Gecko and all,
So, an unpleasant week for all. New investors probably underwater and LTH's getting frustrated with the eroding SP. Thursday saw a chink of light (and also demonstrated that when the wind is behind us we rise very quickly). However, Friday the SP was driven back down and the doom mongers (with it will never sell, or 50p in September) all appear again. What is obvious for all to see is nobody (other then those under NDA) know what the current position is and hence the overly positive and negative posters are simply clutching at straws.
What we do know (and well done to posters like ALEX) is that there are a bucket load of precious metals within the control of EUA and that hasn't or won't go away. So, whether the business is sold, parts of the business is sold, or the metals are mined by EUA with Sinosteel, there is considerable value within this share over time. Sure, you could have been clever and jumped out missing this SP erosion and got a quick buck on ARB etc... but if you'd been locked out with an offer, you would have not been such a genius. It's a risk you have taken, or are taking, and good luck for it paying off.
Quiet patience is the name of the game here. We know that we have a sh!! load of different metals sitting in our tenure and the BOD are looking to sell them (and have made this clear on a number of RNS). We have members of the BOD on share only packages and deal makers working within a success fee basis. It does point towards a sale of assets or business, but who knows. The BOD have kept a very tight ship, which in itself makes it feel more real and likely for some big news. Please remember the Nomad-gate in May where the BOD pulled the SP Angel rabbit out of the hat at the last minute too. They have our backs guys, they just are working through the process to get them/and us the best return IMO.
This is coming from someone who has time limited need for my return on EUA (I was the dream house guy!) , so it is as hard for me to feel patience as any.
Have as good a weekend as you can and eyes down on Monday for the wait for the DFS.

Jeez,
We have had some irritants on this board over the last months/years, yet I have never filtered anyone. It's true there have been times (especially through the suspension) when the board has descended into pointless posts, sniping at one another, yet I still believe that a public board should remain so and hence have never used the filter option.
However, this evening I have broken my duck and placed this jr8409 character as the first ever moniker in my filter list. The posts are unpleasant, the language used unnecessary, and the narrative pointless, as he has stated himself, he is not even invested. If you believe that there will be no sale and the SP will drop, then do what you have to do and I wish you all the best (although wholeheartedly not agreeing with your outlook). However, do give it a rest now and go bug somewhere else. It really is grindingly boring.
For the rest of us looking forward to the DFS and sale, I wish you the best of luck and may Jan be successful for us.

So, are you saying that Tilly, Septic Lil etc.. should not be posted here? Or is it one rule for them and another for that and another for other banter?
Not sure that idea would be that popular. I think many (including me) enjoy the trials and tribulations of Septic Lil and her crusty sea dogs.
I do totally agree about the negativity though, but there are some here who are naturally half empty, or indeed have more nefarious motives, so I am not sure it will stop on request. Here's hoping.
GLA all into the New Year. The vendor of the house I am engaged in is getting twitchy, so news soon would be a tonic...
Great post Ian. More generally, let's just all get on a bit more. It's Christmas, it's hard times for all (even more so today), so why carry on arguing here?
Gecko, I think your fight against the bots is valiant, but I would also say that many don't listen and just attack you and then move on to anyone on this feed. Possibly better just to leave them be and let them argue with themselves. EUA is what it is and there's not a lot else to say. Holders know the score.
I would suggest going and having some nog and just look forward to tomorrow. Fingers crossed like normal.

I think a few here have also tied the DFS at WK as the final piece of the jigsaw required for announcement of the offer.
As you say Stealth, there might be a wait for the DFS at MT to be able to prove up the area, but perhaps with the data from historic drilling and the work of Absolute Precision, there may be enough information for the potential buyer to feel comfort in an offer acceptable to the board. Not sure the EUA BOD would place the business in an FSP if it was then going to prove up the resources for the next 12-18 mo this. Therefore, I am inclined to think that this DFS may act as the gatekeeper of the offer. Hope so anyway. Merry Christmas to all.
Yes, Candid, I feel the same way. It was a bit of a rickets at SO4 with financing and Shaun Day was behind the wheel. I wonder with his obvious move coming from GGP, he took his eye off the ball?
Gonna be an even bumpier week I suspect.
If this is the case, surely you can sell your EUA before the transaction completes to avoid CGT in your ISA?
You may lose 5-10% of the EUA share value, but that is better than CGT right?
Not sure how complicated this thinking is.
Shoot this down in flames if not correct, but perhaps the 2.9 RNS today is a marker in the sand for the buyers to put in their final and best price in the next period of time (maybe month or week). My thinking is maybe the offers are bouncing back and forth and the EUA BOD have lost their patience and just told them to put up or shut up in a set time period. This may explain the release today?
Just a thought?
Didn't he end up as someone's starter (lightly battered with a lemon wedge?)
Can see Gary Lineker commentating on the tea bag throw prior to us losing another penalty shoot out against the Germans, but pretty sure I would crack under the nation's eye. I am not sure I would be up for vilification by the Sun. Will leave that job for Bojo.
Good morning,
I would like to mirror a lot of others thoughts today, just in case the RNS does drop at 7a.m. and all hell breaks loose. I have mainly lurked on this BB (other than created Friday's lift with my tea bag accuracy), so would like to thank the regular positive posters for their knowledge, humour and tenacity in the face of previous uncertainty and attack.
Ian, Tilly, Mac and others who know who you are, thank you for your time and efforts over this year in buoying everyone. Your posts have been valuable, not only in imparting great knowledge and experience for others, but also keeping peckers up, when things looked a little dicey earlier in the year. Also particular mention for Septic Lil, for her tireless work under the bulkhead.
You will all be pleased to know that the tea bag did go in this morning. However, I may have taken Beller's advice and thrown from in front of the ockey a little...

Mincho.
Just got in from a wonderful walk across the cliff tops and seen the price.
Got to take some of the credit here. Every morning before 7, I make myself a cup of tea. I stand the other end of the kitchen (which isn't that far away) and try and throw the tea bag into the cup. My bet is that EUA will come good the day it goes in. Well, wouldn't you know it, but this morning was the first time it went in...No word of a lie.
I'll be doing it again tomorrow, but specifically for an RNS.
You're welcome Matt...
On the plus side, they do also mention:
"SourceBio continues to build capacity for COVID-19 testing services to support expected further demand into 2021"
Source:

Source Bio have released an RNS this morning, stating that the DHSC contracts:
"The DHSC contract is expected to be extended through Public Health England's ("PHE") National Microbiology Framework Lot 4 - Clinical Laboratory Diagnostic Testing Services ("Lot4"), however this framework is now not expected to be awarded until February 2021, although this may be subject to further change, having originally been expected to be awarded in November 2020."
Are we in framework 4? and if so, are we likely to now have to wait until February until our potential contract is awarded?
