Ricardo, correct I would say too pessimistic. However since this is imo undervalued in relation to income and potential, it would turn only on a change in sentiment, not easy to forecast. For that uncertainty I urged dealing only a small % of holding, you really could be out at the wrong, unheralded, time. I have only sliced at a profit (in that particular account's average) and only bought-back when significantly cheaper than a recent slice. So the profits have been small and at random intervals, but you know what he said about impatient and patient.

Sentiment apart, I have harboured a hunch there is some manipulation. How, why, by whom, until when; take your pick? Well chitty, you are right to trade it on recent performance. Yesterday you could buy for 25.8p, today sell for 28.8p: I think these absorb buy/sell & fees. I only slice small amounts, you need the main wedge intact for stellar lift-off, who can guess when. But while raising my average, I have freed measurable CGs in taxable accounts. Ginger, I differ. There are, among many stocks, posters who relentlessly bash or ramp the share, BoD, sp, wording of RNSs, whatever. Now, while Care in the Community was an improvement on its institutional precursor, I do not believe there are enough loonies in the community to account for this. The rampers might be delusional holders, but the bashers? Surely no one would devote the colossal time involved if they were not paid? And surely no one would pay if it did not generate results?

So I concluded some time ago that there are paid posters, and they have some effect, impossible to quantify. Disagree by all means, fault my logic if you can, I'm not looking for a row, just hope to raise awareness.

Clearly, large companies with institutional owners are less susceptible to this than aim minnows.
