I am struggling to find an RNS that tells me that 88e through their wholly owned subsidiary owns any where near that amount let alone leases anything like that!!

Lease are somewhere sub of 400sq acres net I believe, Happy to be corrected as adjustments have been made with Winx and Yukon plus some icewine additions. Wonder how quick the Winx leases can be surrendered?

I suspect no discussion with Tanesco re tariff rates for distribution of power to third parties.

I suspect LC is being treated like a mushroom, kept in the dark and covered in the smelly stuff. I also suspect that the confusion created by Tanesco is going to take some time to unravel, once that process is completed I suspect LC will be in a better position to set out a road map for the MCPP

We still do not who progressed to phase 2, despite the suggestion going around that the tender may have been won by a SEO, a fine example of an IPP!! not.

Have you spoken to LC, bearing in mind you have told us all that he does not know what he is doing with Tanzanian investments? Were you able to offer substantive intelligent guidance to LC in order to assist his moment of inability? Will you be able to share this momentous event in detail?

PB did what he was asked to do and planned to do by finding the HRZ, The HRZ is now a science and engineering, in the hands of experts.

Dr SS is our Conventional Geo and a lot more. He has focus on IW conventional, maybe Yukon?

WINX was Otto baby re their Conventional geo team. 88e did the operation side.

I have not lost confidence in DW over Winx, it was a sideshow that may have been very helpful on success. The failure has resulted in the spud rebate plus savings on funds raised for a Flow test that does not now need to happen.

The FO is up next and I am sure that DW is close to the discussions/negotiations without micro managing the team conducting the process.

The placement in November raised cash to cover costs of a flow test if needed. As the flow test is no longer needed, the cash in bank is not going to be under too much pressure until after the FO is sorted, if at all.

For me the concern is that if the tender had to have a certain % to the gov or another local company this should have been identified in the initial documents with the required % to be owned.

This would automatically have sealed the process from the start. Kibo and others could then have dropped out with reasons given

I do not believe Tanesco will provide reasons to anyone who has failed the process. i do bot believe Tanesco can give any credible reason,and they know it, so they will stay silent.

Anyone else here think that the thermal coal aspect of the process may have failed?and Tanesco are stuck with a failed SOE, but too embarrassed to admit it

The concern maybe that the Magafuli has told tanesco to bin all the other thermal coal power applications in favour of the SOE. If so, then this may be the reason why Tanesco have not provided any feedback and may never do so. Looking at the post you copied here this STIMCO look like a bunch of muppets as well
