Industry has moved on a lot and those who entered the data room did so for a reason, They also are down to one who may wish to farm in, this will also be for a reason. This is not for production this is still for exploration and not unusual to be in partnership. The risk is mitigated by how much they pay and how much interest they retain.

Unlikely that there is no FO deal as their are multlple interested parties.

You clearly have done very little research on Winx or IW 1 & IW2, your posts are evidence.

As far as Winx goes any research will show that 88e were the operators whilst OTTo looked after the petrophysics and selected the location for drilling.

1/ Icewine 1 drill was to identify oil in pace, supported by D & M as ICPR, not a flow test.

2/ Icewine 2 drill has identified that the horizontal should be aimed at the upper zone of the two. This is still a science and engineering well. The team working on this have C5 to work with as a starter as well as the correct zone identified. Way too soon to decide if this is going to work or not. yet, there is stated intent to look for a FO for H2 this year.

In short, HRZ is known to be the source rock for the conventional traps ''filled to spill.'' source PB.

Yes, there have been disappointments along the way. At this time there is still work ongoing with new update seismic techniques being applied, unlike WINX that relied on old data and techniques.

Since last year I see it took Minergy 9 months to get their ML approved. If Kibo follow a similar pattern it may take until end of July for ML approval.

When you first mentioned that the Bots gov would not be issuing an ML to kibo until 2020. I researched and could find nothing in the public domain that makes any reference, I still am unable to find any such reference. Are you able to supply any information that is in the public domain for this matter?

I can find no evidence of the Bots Gov advising anyone in the public domain re the issue of an MCIPP Ml in 2020 or any other year for that matter. The KV pipeline is old news and to suggests that it is being put in place so that the TZ can purchase power at international tariff rate instead of producing it at potentially cheaper domestic rates for export and home industrialisation seems somewhat unenlightened.

I am not sure you know what your source is but I suggest you get it sorted.

Yes does seem to be at odds with stated intent of ''industrialisation'' when industry is paying the cost of diesel at 50ckwh plus.

Seems they have little idea of how industry is financed and its costs. In addition they were to export power for currency reserves. They do not seem to realise that the power will be purchased at market rate.

I cannot see how Winx could be linked to a FO. there is no ''nearology'' that would impact on anything.

Go back to BP in the early days, they were done and packing up. a small operator had a drill on some BP lease that had not been given back or sold on and hit the discovery that gave Alaska its reputation....Prudoe. BP had been drilling all over and decided it was a bust, they were wrong.

Those who may have an interest will be focusing on what they do know about the leads they are interested in. All else is not relevant
